@night fangs I saw Karen sing at a firehall in Newark Delaware as a youngster I used to see their van often at the bank downtown and on main street. That was in the early years. Even then I knew she had a voice that I would never forget. She and the band were amazing.

Robertzajkowski3627 I’m a 63 year old black man who grew up on soul and reggae music. Disco was new in the mid 1970’s and the Bee Gees was definitely one of my favourites. I’m sure those beautiful ladies felt even more joy when they read your nice message.

Amen to that! Every time I hear this song (and, a couple of their others, as well), the flawless harmonies remind me that music is a gift from God, and, I can clearly understand how music can soothe the soul.

In fairness, there's a generation(s) of youths that don't know the Bee Gees music. I'm a 50-ish GenXer, so mid-70's on up is my JAM...but it's absolutely normal for those born in the 90's onward to not have an ear at ALL for this period...ESPECIALLY the disco era. That era might be my favorite in that time frame, but sadly, it hasn't been given the enduring respect like "classic rock" has.

@@peterdarker1 I don't want to dispute that, but my children are, for example, children of the 90s and know the Bee Gees. Not that we heard them all the time. My grandchildren are also familiar with the Bee Gees, even if they may not know them by name, but they recognize one or the other well-known song and sing loudly - and wrongly :-) - along. However, if the musical spectrum is limited to only a few genres, then... it's just a shame that great music is forgotten so quickly!

They are indeed amazing HOWEVER in this video they were lip syncing to the studio recording which had been processed a little. They were stunning harmonies but when on the video Barry Gibb backs off the microphone, leaving the other two (Robin and Maurice) singing there are THREE VOICES you are still hearing .
