Yes.... and let's also not forget you weren't there to support your community to stop the gunman before the 911 call, keeping in mind children don't go to school to be accidently killed by 376 police officers. Not too sure how your school was set up when you were a child, but my school was safe for me to attend, schools are supposed to be safe before the massacre, not after the bloodshed. The problem with youtube commenters is you all think it's your duty as a "concerned citizen" to make a comment on a youtube forum a year after the massacre, but during or before you all just cannot be found. That implies you need a video to get you pumped up!! Then you all come out from under your rocks playing the angry, outraged victim. It doesn't work that way. There's gunmen who are killing our children out there, and that's a serious problem that requires support from citizens, teachers, parents, and yes youtube viewers. We need to unite together as one, not separated in two groups, cops and recliner chair citizen who want to criticize and pass judgement on anyone but themselves. Yes it is our job as citizens to make sure schools are safe, or WHT would be our point in making a fucking comment on youtube if we were willing to put our money where our mouth is. God bless 🙏

I have it myself from a shooting/homicide. To see a CHILD experiencing these same symptoms rips my heart to shreds. Thank God for his mom and dad and support system. Praying for continued healing for AJ ❤

@@rogerbarrera8600 Getting shot robs you of so much. Including sometimes doing things you love. I hope with all my heart that he's able to find a way to play even a little bit. If you love sports growing up, you know how much it hurts to have that taken away from you. I hate that there are little kids that have to go thru this. 😔

Unfortunately laws do not always prevent people from obtaining firearms illegally or modifying firearms.

It was an absolute cluster. The cascade of failures from dispatch to the responders has been widely criticized since the day it happened. The police thought it was a hostage situation, but if they had been told from the beginning that it was an active shooter, they should have immediately followed that protocol and perhaps more lives could have been saved. Instead, one poor girl sat for an hour and a half in her classmate's blood that she smeared all over herself to play dead. The really sad part? People say that her actions might be taught in future school shooting trainings. 😥

Conservatives and the gun lobby just use situations like this in an endeavor to put guns in people's hands. It's their sales tactic. Somehow, having a 2nd amendment is supposed avert situations like this. Despite the fact he waited until right after his 18th birthday to legally purchase 2 AR-15s and ironically, Abbotts response is that to deny someone his age obtaining a gun is unconstitutional.

Stop trying to force a gun into everyone's hands. The shooter didn't even obtain his guns illegally. He walked into a gun shop and bought them.

@denverlilly3669 The Nashville sicko had another site in mind, but decided not to target it because it had armed security. She chose to go for the one with no armed guards. Schools are gun free zones... it's illegal to go in with one let alone rob the lives of people, but now you think that the individual who was willing to ignore those two laws will follow a new gun law. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I saw a story that now Uvalde schools have armed law enforcement guards. This should be nationwide. Stop making kids soft targets for wackos who will always exist.

It's understandable, they're speaking from a place of emotional trauma; of course that would never happen. As we all know, bad guys don't care about the laws.

What will that do? I'm from Chicago. Illinois has some of the strictest gun laws so why isn't Chicago the safest city? Leave the millions of law abiding citizens who have a constitutional right to defend themselves alone

@@HeritageSoftail- Well, a lot of times nut jobs attack people just because they want to I guess. And as far as Illinois, then you’ll understand most of the guns come from out of state. If somehow they could magically stop guns from coming out of the state I think things would be different in Chicago than they were now. Well, they would definitely be different. I’m not saying it would be a utopia or anything, but it would definitely be better. And I’m not saying gun control arguments or something I often agree with, because I think they overstate the importance of the rules they want done.
