On calories that low, I would personally ditch the honey and rice for more filing carbs like sweet potatoes, broccoli, melons, oranges and apples, etc.

Well my bmr is 1500-1600 I’m at 5ft5 and I’m 145 lbs, but I’m muscular as well, so cutting is very difficult, I tend to have to dip to 1200 cals to lose any weight

@@EastAngliasFinest before I was counting calories I was obese at age 14 I was 100kg (over 200 pounds if u dont know kg) and I was not eating 1500 in food but with the sugary stuff I drank on daily I prob was having like 3000 calories so when I started counting calories and when I just had 1500 just from food dude I felt full I never felt hungry on 1500 even once and I went from 100kg to 60kg (like 135 I think in pounds)

As a meal replacement I do 2 scoops protein (260) 100 grams of strawberries (about 30) 1 banana (100) 32 g’s of peanut butter (180) 1 cup of milk (80) and half a serving of nonfat greek yogurt (50). You can play with the ingredients a lot

Only way this is reasonable is if he's doing a temporary cut due to weeks of massively over eating or doing some sort of body builder competition

Guys don't forget get that for example if you are a 5'3 GIRL that is about 130 lbs, 1500 calories is a mild weight loss, if you add it with about 1-3 days of workout per week. and your age also matters, younger people burn more naturally, so maybe before judging this guy, know his information first. Also, sometimes you can eat a food that is 400 calories that fills you soooo much that you don't feel like eating for at least 4-6 hours.

When losing weight we have calorie restriction (ex. 500 calories), but then we have some 7 days of even lower calories to boost progress (ex. 1200 calories). My question is, how long should we do that even lesser calories?

@@Rue105 peas taste way better. I used to just eat a whole bag. Eh I used to eat raw mushrooms at school. I just can’t eat tomatoes like an apple. I hate bananas. But yah heaps of warm peas, corn, asian vegetables chuck in oyster sauce and it’s so yum. One time I used to eat broccoli and pink potatoes for breakfast and then cause of my medication I get really hungry so I’d gorge on spaghetti and butter with spring onion. I love food but it’s making me too overweight :( constipated. Argh is there anything better than carbs and salt?

And not a lot of volume, you'd be starving to death with this diet. Removing the 37 grams of sauce frees up like 350 calories which you can spread out to increase the portions of things

It depends on your height, but it could be a hormone imbalance that causes your metabolism to be slow. You can try to do a reverse diet and eat more calories than you usually do in order to kickstart your metabolism. But make sure that atleast 80% of your calories come from unprocessed healthy food sources.

@@leylag7959 i had the same problem in the past. So instead of dieting. I was first eating more calories than i used to eat, made sure my sleep was also on point and all of a sudden i started to lose fat while consuming more calories than before. You can also do some weight lifting to help speed up your metabolism btw. After you see that you can eat more calories with maintaining/losing weight. Then you can start dieting by lowering your dayly caloric intake.

If you are man (even woman) on 1500 cals there is no PHYSICAL way of you not losing weight unless you are really really really REALLY short which i assume you arent. You may be missing sauces that you eat. Oil that you cook with. Sugar that you put in your tea/coffee. Sodas (zero sodas are fine) . Alcohol contains a lot of calories.

Those meals look devastating, you can eat 1500 calories of food that looks good. And if you are in a deficit, you shouldn't eat high calorie foods such as bananas (1 banana has the same amount of calories as 4-5 apples) or a shake of almost 500 calories. You can easily eat 2 protein fruit yoghurts that have max 200 calories instead. And I'd definitely ditch sugar and honey.
