And it did change my life, it changed my life in the least way that I expected. Watching a near death experience through my brother when he was diagnosed with COVID+ made me question life even more.
This year may not have given me what I wanted but it let me keep the people that I needed. And that is all I could ever ask for.
Never take life for granted. Make sure you tell your family and friends that you love them. Don't let them forget that you appreciate having them in your life. Being quarantined gave me the self-reflection that I needed, it forced me to face myself and look deeper. It showed me my purpose, my passion that had died because I was too focused on my everyday life. I found what I want and what has my heart.
And I am praying deeply that 2021 will give me that chance to never take a single day for granted ever again.
