I ate at my maintenance of 2,200 calories for 5 weeks and gained 3 lbs, i built tons of muscle but was bloated throughout the day. It was too much for me but i still didn't gain fat. Is it normal to be bloated all day during a maintenance? I felt like that was too much food for me. I do have muscle now from 4 bulks and 4 cuts now.
If coming of low cals sometimes it takes a bit to adjust to higher cals. In this case it may be beneficial to do a fast reverse diet make sure you get enough fiber
Are you sure that when you lower your calorie consumption so much to 1200 for a while and then quickly change to maintenance you still won’t gain any weight? It feels wrong because your body has adapted to so low calories and now when you change it drastically up it affects alot
