@taiwoeagle 1564, I can't remember a time when I haven't believed that to be so...well, except maybe for a few brief moments when I was having my own personal pity party. I believe I was in the 1st or 2nd grade when I noticed I was unable to keep up with the other kids in class. When I was alone, (usually at bedtime) I would thank the Lord that my smarts were as good as they were as I knew of others who seem to be struggling more than I was, then I'd give Him the...but I sure would love it if you make me smarter, and I know Lord you can do all things. The years (I'm now 67) have been filled with many prayers of thanks as He has kept a roof over my head and food in my belly in spite of the struggles learning difficulties can bring. I do still have an occasional brief pity party but still need to believe He will answer my prayers. He did however bless me with an amazing voice, I can sing exactly like Grace Brumley, Julie Andrews, Sandy Patty and a few others... really I can. Although I am just so very pleased for this singing gift and thankful I can sound just like some other singers I mostly just sing like me, Cindy. I am however unable to memorize, so clearly any singing other than at home following a singer as they sing on a c.d is not yet going to happen. Most of all though, I need to know His word. By grace, He has placed my love for Him solid in my heart, and I know all things happen for a reason, and know how I am is enough for my Father, but....please pray for me because my strong yearning to be able to comprehend His word better is clearly a daily prayer that I would love and be so joyous to have come true. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE ! Actually, in spite of learning issues, I am filled with joy (most of the time). Thank you Lord for grace.
