But, most people still buy this over-priced trash. Ten years ago card manufacturers wouldn't even try putting artificial manufactured cards in products. They knew collectors were to smart to accept that garbage!!!! I get it for fantasy cards of characters that don't exist like super heroes or mythological. However, making them for real people is just ridiculous in my opinion and if they do the product should be very cheap in price!!!! We need to do a little Twisted Sister on our innovative pals from Upper Deck!!! Were not going to take it anymore!!!!
Every box I've seen opened so far has had its value and the cards are sick .... every main hit in each box is worth more than $80 .... I think Black Diamond is finally giving the value .... as for the autos well you can't cut glass with a pen .... real or artificial it's still worth more than ink .... and doesn't smear or look shitty when handled wrong ... lol ...
for $300+ those jumbo relics should be game used / player worn, and that'd be enough to justify the price imo. who cares if premier is the set that has em, theyd also be perfect in this set too. as it stands, like other ppl have said, pretty cards but it should be a $200 box (cad) tops.
that was a pretty good box, that Shane Wright saved it. Was going to actually get a personal box, but seen in a few breaks how shitty some boxes can be. Also, boxes missing hits, not cool with such a high-end product. Will probably just wait and invest in flagship in a few months buy singles off of eBay.
One thing I think people fail to realize is that Upper Deck ( and probably other card companies) don’t give a damn about a particular card’s resale value. It’s a collector’s hobby first and foremost, so that’s who they have in mind. They could care less if you break even as so many of you think that’s what it’s about.
Thats the same exact box I open couple weeks ago ,but the diamond relics are Owen power /10 ,not a Lafleur its a caufield ,and not a ovi but a brodeur ...same exact cards but different player

i’ve been keeping up with the hobby but haven’t bought anything since 22/23 series one just because of how violent the prices are for everything meanwhile you can never break even on a box anymore. UD is getting greedier and greedier and the fact that there’s no guaranteed auto in a 330 dollar box is crazy to me. Thanks to zeeree for making all this content for us though
Not buying any of this stuff .. especially since its a whopping $330 a box. Instead I just pre-ordered 2 boxes of Skybox for about $170 a box. I really like the design of the upcoming Skybox so it was a no-brainer for me. I would've probably ended up getting another box anyway so to save on shipping just bit the bullet now. People who buy this product should just give the cash to the less fortunate... Not reward the Upper Deck Family with more yacht's and bigger bank accounts... I don't know what happened to Upper Deck, but many years ago they use to be a top-notch company that put out quality products for a decent price!!! I think they went corporate or something like that... Now, it seems like a bunch of bean counters sitting in a office trying to give you less for more money!!!! It just keeps getting worse and worse every year!!!
For that kind of money I would rather buy some older BAP memorabilia/autos. Just got in the mail today a 2003-04 BAP Ultimate Memorabilia Ted Lindsay Vintage Complete Jersey 1 of 10 and a Steve Yzerman 2003-04 Titanium Patches 13/20 and still paid less for them than that box cost. Sure, someone is going to get an awesome McDavid card, but most will end up like this one. Just not worth it. Also, I purchased one pack of that SP Signature Edition Legends hockey online. What a joke! For $13 (counting tax) I got a Mathieu Dandenault, Terry Carkner, Brian Engblom and Andrew Raycroft base. Those guys are "legends"????? And the insert was of Dave Andreychuk. Like anyone cares about anything of his. smh I give up on packs I guess, although I did really good with the new Ultra (getting autos of Swayman, Matt Tkachuk (1/25), Moritz Seider (1/25), Dylan Cozens Dazzlers auto and a kole Lind (1/99) buying packs here and there.
