This fight between Muichiro and Gyokko really felt so underwhelming, but to think of it I think 10k flying poison piranha is more terrifying than 10+ flying poison blood sickle. Not to mention that he can summon the others type of fish for like a hundred. Gyokko's neck stronger than a diamond and his move is too flexible compare to gyutaro who still has human body. This fight just seem easy but it's actually a lethal fight after all😂.
muichiro is another level and he got his demon slayer mark that is like a power boost so his fight with upper5 is like an easy one. Tengen is also strong but mui is a lot stronger than him
Muichiro became a pillar in just two months, and he is a descendant of Sun Breathing users, so he is stronger than we think. And I think it was probably a good match for the battle with Gyokko.If Kotetsu didn't breathe in, it's true that Muichiro couldn't beat Gyokko.And Kotetsu was saved by Rengoku-san's sword blade. The truth is that gyokko is stronger than gyutaro. The upper moons are ranked for a reason. Gyokko s moves were stronger than gyutaros. Like...10000 fish that attack and poison u at the same time??? It s the hashira that made the difference. Tengen uzui himself said he s not special compared to muichiro rengoku and the stone hashira. That s just the truth
Gyokko's Backstory: Gyokko as a human was called Managi, one day his parents went fishing but did not return, Managi told the people to help him look for them, after a day they located the bodies of the Managi's parents who drowned and were full of fish, Managi loved the state of his parents' bodies that he even saw it as art... One night, Managi killed a boy who was made fun of him and hid his body in a vase, this boy's parents took revenge on Managi by piercing two giant fishing spears into his body, he was like that for almost a day until what for Muzan happened to be walking on that side and helped Managi to become a demon and have the name Gyokko... Being a demon he developed a taste for humans, especially for children.
The most shocking thing about this episode was that Gyokko didn't get a backstory, maybe because Tanjirou wasn't there to feel bad for him, so he didn't bother telling his backstory. Jk 😅

I understand why it can feel gyutaro is stronger than gyokko but when i try to remember any memorable and remarkable blood demon art from gyutaro except for those poisoned blood sickles and in general his strength i remember nothing in comparison to the number of blood demon arts gyokko has plus how quick he is! With all the blood demon art gyokko showed,it would have taken out any slayer even unmarked muichiro!i mean muichiro was almost dead in that water bubble! Muichiro was already a prodigy the mark made him undefeatable that's why the fight wasn't as remarkable as the gyutaro one! With gyutaro it was not particularly him who was remarkable but the fight that was remarkable because of how equal they were in power! Muichiro was just that guy who powered up to the level that made the fight look meh and one sided! Also the circumstances they were fighting in. With gyutaro the slayers only went all out after the entire village was cleared away. This current fight between gyokko and muichiro even though they are in the village they are still practically in the woods. And last ngl gyokko's arrogance also did get in his way! Him straight up not killing haganezuka because he wanted to break his concentration is an example
(I don't want to spoil you guys but you might find out in future episodes or in the next season) Gyokko is more stronger than Muichiro but there's a reason why he was able to beat and kill upper moon 5 on his own without any help from Tanjiro or from the other Hashiras. Quick note: Muichiro is the same age as Nezuko
I love Tengen too and it's no disrespect but he even said Muichiro was in a different league, a prodigy. Muichiro became a Hashira after 4 months. I do think Gyokko is stronger than Gyutaro and Daki. Both Gyutaro and Gyokko had poison but Gyokko's speed and Blood Demon art are leagues above Gyutaro and Daki. While Gyutaro can manipulate his blood and Daki her belt Gyokko can manipulate his flesh. create various creatures independent of himself. However, Gyutaro is mentally stronger than Gyokko🤣 As strong as Muichiro is, if it wasn't for his awakening and Kotesu's help, he would have been killed by Gyokko. I believe Muichiro could have killed Guytaro and Daki by himself. It just shows the power difference between Team Tanjirou and a Hashira. You see how The Love Hashira just showed up and started handling #4 Upper Moon.

Before his mark awakening, if not for Kotetsu. Muichiro would have drown in the water prison pot. Gyokko toyed around too much, if he is serious in his business. He should have killed Muichiro when he is stuck in the water prison pot. When he entered the shed, he could have killed Kanamori and Haganezuka easily but he didn’t. So this defeat is all on him. He could have prevented it all and won. Tengen did good against Gyutaro. His poison resistance held off. Gyutaro’s poison is no joke. As Muzan said Daki is a burden to Gyutaro and if Gyutaro was to poison and ran off. He would have won cleanly. Rengoku did well too. His foe was an Upper 3. Considering no Mark awakening amp or power up, he did great. No one on the train besides him lost their lives. So much potential. Rengoku was just gone too soon.
Gyokko is much stronger than Gyutarou, what happens is the following: For example, Gyutarou has 40,000 fighting power, Tengen would have 36,000 power... Gyokko would have 70,000 and a base form Muichiro would have 45,000 but activating mark, his level increases to about 130,000 power. I want to say that Muichirou increased so much power that Gyokko looked very inferior, Tengen and Gyutaro were very even, that's why there were many difficulties But Muichirou increased his strength too much
upper moon 5 is stronger than upper moon 6 that is a pure fact, muzan knows exactly how strong each demon is. Muichiro is realy just stronger than Tengen.
I like this episode but the fight against Gyokko surely gave me an impression that he's the weakest UP, Maybe this was just to show how strong Muichiro now, but ngl fight felt so underwhelming to me, I mean Rengoku died and Uzui nearly died fighting Upper Demons and then Gyokko kind of just went down like a chump after Muichiro got his power-up. I'm hoping Hantengu doesn't go down nearly as easily 🙏🏻
hantengu won't, trust me, i'm a manga reader. also, about gyokko, he had so much insta kill abilities, the poison from the needles, the water vase, the toxic from the fish, the "touch you, and you're a fish now" in his final form, this really was just how much muichiro is on another level + he was marked in that time (won't give you any spoilers, they'll explain the mark later in the anime)
Honestly, the real reason why Muichiro defeated Gyokko was 100% because of the demon slayer mark, considering it is a huge buff. Muichiro without the demon slayer mark was getting mocked and clowned on by Gyokko. So, it’s pretty obvious why he won. I think this fight was just telling us the gap between when a demon slayer is marked and unmarked. Also, Gyokko is stronger than Gyutaro since he has more broken abilities and the only reason why Gyutaro seem stronger is because his opponent was Tengen a hashira who’s undoubtedly the weakest hashira.

Tengen said that he was a relatively weak hashira compared to the others and he couldn't compare to Rengokue, Muichiro or the stone hashira. He said Muichiro is a prodigy that became a hashira in two months, and that was at age 11 as we saw and he killed a demon on his own with no training at 11, he's a descendant of a powerful bloodline and now he's had a few years of training as a hashira. Gyokko is stronger than Gyutaro, but Muichiro is just that crazy strong
The Upper Ranks are ranked accordingly to their strength and power level. Counting down from 6 to 1, they are ranked in the order of their power level. Upper 3-1 is on a whole other league from the others. Doma far outshines Akaza. And Kokoshibo is far above Doma.
the thing about gyutaro and gyokko kuatan mana sebenernya jelas kuatan gyokko soalnya lebih banyak jurus lebih cepet dll, bdanya itu mui lebih kuat krn dapet tanda (kalo dia ga dapety tanda ya bakal numb kayak tengen), demon slayer marknya yang bikin dia jadi jauh lebih tahan, mungkin karena mui lebi punya pengalaman yg trigger dia buat beci banget sama demon jd awakening and all + muichiro jd hashira cuma dalam 2 bulan btw, imagine how strong he is, intiny emg gyokko lebih kuat tp mui juga lebih kuat
Gyokko was much more stronger than Gyutaro. But Muichiro is on whole another level, so we seems its much easier to defeat UP 5. It's like we thought Rengoku is the strongest until he meets Akaza 🥲 (Tanjiro took 1.5 years just to pass the final selection and Muichiro took just 2 months to become a Hashira. Don't underestimate him 😉)
Tengen's battle with UM6 was a spectacle, of course, he is the flashiest demon slayer in the corps..in a way their respective battles aligns with their personalities,..the Sound Hashira's battle burned a whole district, with lots of explosions, Muichiro's was quite the opposite, almost no one was around and it quick and smooth.
Gyokko had so much insta kill loves like toxic fish gas, the water vase, the needles, and the instant fish strike with his final form. The dude was full of hax, but Muichiro was just so strong that it didnt matter. He's one of the top 3 strongest Hashira for sure.

Well in terms of raw power gyutaro is more powerful but gyokkos blood demon art is more of an insta kill moves so he's upper 5 but tokito is really that guy! When he got the mark he didn't even got hit directly even once! And gyutaro had the potential to be upper 4 if he didn't have daki
