I was first VIP and now ARMY as well. Taeyang was actually Jimin's greatest and number one inspiration. He was a member of Big Bang, revolutionary to Kpop. Suga states himself that you could even go as far as to say that Big Bang created BTS solely from the inspiration they gave them. It was Teddy Park (Blackpink's producer) who suggested 2 yrs ago that Taeyang should do a collab with Jimin. I also feel like it says a lot about Taeyang that he not only "featured" Jimin in his solo song, but he gave him equal parts showcasing Jimin's beautiful voice. Shows humility, respect to Jimin, and confidence in himself imo. Taeyang's singing and voice is highly respected and loved by BTS members, esp Jimin. So in light of this, it makes me respect Taeyang all the more. It's purely about the music and delegating who sounds best for what part. Plus, imagine how ecstatic Jimin is to be hyped up by his greatest inspiration!!! Both are absolute legends. Oh, and if y'all wanna see Suga fanboying over Taeyang while eating together, there's a video of them two on BangtanaTV channel. It was wholesome to see a another side of Suga. the level of respect he has for Taeyang just goes to show the impact Big Bang had on the members of BTS. Also, Taeyang is not "macho" the way you think he is. He does have masculine energy but his personality is very gentle. If you watch the video I recommended above, you'll see how wrong you were boys. The new girl was right, he didn't need any balancing out. Y'all are just Jimin biases so it's ok hahahahhaa.

G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung. Originally a five-piece band, Seungri retired from the entertainment industry in March 2019. Taeyang is my favorite because of his beautiful R&B type of smooth voice and great dancing! Listen to a few of his solo songs: 1 - Wedding Dress mv 2 - Eyes, Nose, Lips - his vocal range really shines on this one. (My favorite version is the live extended one of 5+ minutes from the *MADE* seoul world tour ... I found it on "12325" RU-vid channel) 3 - I Need a Girl (favorite version 4 me is the "official" MV of Taeyang featuring G-Dragon.) BigBang released a mv/song in 2022 called " STILL LIFE" which REALLY HIGHLIGHTS each of Bigbang's member's voices.
