EEW! how does it get that dirty. have you been emptying the water every day and using new water, when was the last time you even cleaned it.

Hi! I review all the humidifiers and hard water will turn these filters yellow within 5 days and brown in 3 weeks.

Are you really using tap water for your humidifier! Use Distilled Water, it's way safer.

Hi! I use filtered tap. I use humidifiers almost 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week so it's not economical for me to use distilled.

All you need to get is a water distiller cost about 50 bucks btw worth the investment.
