So he can’t have an opinion on other transfers? This is a surprise transfer fee to most people. I’m sure he agrees United over paid on the players you mention so not sure what your point is
@@BridgeStamford yeah right.😂😂😂. coz you can compare rasmus to alvarez, or Antony or Maguire.. i bet united can entertain a deal of swapping the three for alvarez.. i bet they might
@@BridgeStamford How is 80m for Alvarez a surprise for you??? He puts up Rashford level numbers or even better numbers than that as a bench player that would start for every top 5 club in any league. 100m would have been kinda shocking but seeing that Olmo is worth 60m while being constantly injured and not doing anything numbers wise at all makes 80m for Alvarez look like a steal.
""Nobody cares about Man City, nobody talks about Man City", mate you literally make a video whinging about Man City every other video on this channel 😂😂
@@zorashkiAlvaraz is in no way overpriced...with the current price, he is at least 90-100M...just because he is their 2nd striker, doesn't mean he isn't better that every other teams 1st striker...I personally believe he is a better player than even Haalanf
"What a joke, 80 mil for Alavrez who won World cup, Copa, Premiere League, UCL. but 65 mil for Hojlund & 85 mil for fidget spinner Antony is a good deal. 😂
Alvarez was in the top 5 of players with the most minutes last season, calling him a “bench player” is dumb. How are u complaining about 80m price point when he is one of the best strikers in the prem and 24 years old.
Why is it a joke lol? He keeps saying he is a reserve striker, not that he is 24, has won everything, proven himself multiple times, is practically a complete striker, had 20+ G/A last season
But Mark won't mention the "unfairness" of: Quagmire (80m), Bissaka (50m), Casimiro (60m), Sanchinho Gaucho (75m), Yoro (18 yo, last year of contract and 60m fee), Antony (80m), Hojlund (60m), Zirkzee (the famous nobody for 40m), Mount (last year of contract and 60m). The list goes on and on and on.
True, as he usually admits, but it’s also a hella sus price tag considering the entire world knows they’re under investigation and therefore are pressured financially to sell.
yeah but thats because united can spend $70 every year if they wanted to, why does it matter how much united spent? they have the infrastructure to do so, so why wouldn't they? especially when they are not top 4 finishers every season. Comments like this make me laugh 😂and im not even a united fan but its obvious as day why they offer this deals, and it makes perfect sense from the united ownership and club with how they are run. Only way this does not make any sense is if your your looking at it from the outside with little overall knowledge of their club. I thought this was standard knowledge? and im a liverpool fan as well. smh next generation of fans gona be plastic af, and just watch MOTD and claim to be die hard fans.
Completely wrong, Alvarez was bought for pennies by smart people and now they have flipped him for profit. Good management and scouting by City, something United need.
it's a tactic to get people to click the video. but as you can see from the dislikes, people don't like it when everything is presented as a problem when there is no problem.
Let me guess this straight: City signed Alvarez for 14 million, he then helped us to win a treble followed by a league title, then City sold him for 85 million. Alvarez had 34 G/A last year, equivalent to Rasmus Hojland, Rashford and Martial combined. But 80 million for him is a "joke". HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
He's a muppet but he's right that it's a problem as he should've been closer to 40m but these overhyped prices is what makes the rest of the market prices go up. If you hadn't noticed, most signings this year had been lower, even united hasn't had their pants pulled down yet
Think the problem highlighted is an inflated price for a guy that was bought for 14 mil 2 years ago and complains about lack of playtime. But then again Ferran Torres flopped hard, and somehow got sold for twice what City paid for him to a club that has no money. Probably not a surprise when City itself was built on inflated sponsorship money and dodgy deals.
@darreonarcher8865 whys that, cause I've explained his role at city and Argentina? And spoke sense on how teams value important players... so caicedo is the best dm in world football right? He was over 100m
@@faster6329 bro, u are the ones embarassing urself. this is another level of business. Last season Man City got 720mil revenue btw. Even with 116 Man City still miles ahead of ur club. Not only that, let me ask u why a lot of Premier League players want to go Saudi league in recent years? because this premier league is far too ancient and this ffp nonsense. Saudi league can offer far more than premier league clubs can offer
Mark, a football team wants to pay 80 million for another teams football player. You said the transfer window was boring and now a big transfer comes in. Because it’s city you suddenly hate it. City, yes may have broke the rules but their recruitment has been ridiculously good.
recruitment hasnt been good since the treble.. we've lost senior players and not replaced them. and the players who have been here ages are older.. I trust the board when they say they will be able to prove innocence in the 115, but the way the transfers are going, now Im not so sure
@@srivatsankrishnan9936 typically what happens. when your team is doing well other clubs swipe possible replacements for your best player before you even know you need to replace them. Then your left in a position were there's no real option for a replacement. sometimes this forces a system change or a difference in where the focal point of the team is.
@@samkkxtm and they have to remember he isn’t playing as an striker which is his primary position and his being an winger or midfielder and still scoring
You really can't complain as you paid £85 million for Anthony, who's worth less than a quarter of that even when you bought him I'm not even a City fan, but it's good business if you can take the hit of selling a decent striker
Hell I just sucked it up and acknowledged that United were just better during those days. United fans can’t handle being the second best in the city. That’s why they so desperately need the 115 to be proven because if City proves their innocence, people like Mark will be mentally finished
@@bobbydigital3061 couldnt have said it better myself. At this point im sure he does videos like this for clicks, because if you look at the logic of what he says especially as a United fan it makes no sense. Especially when you look at how much both clubs have spent since Pep's arrival. He said it himself he's bitter, his anger at City is really misdirected.
This guy is a clown.Alvarez is literally better than every other ST in the league that isn’t Haaland but if Brentford sold Toney for 90 mil rn he wouldn’t have anything to say about it.His jealousy is sickening
am i the only one starting to see this as jealousy gone too far, atletico already paid 100+ for joao felix if that's how they value alvarez its there damn problem

He played most amount of min than those players mentioned , an extemly versatile player (played rw,lw,CF,st,cam,no 8).if hoijlund went for 72m with 0 pl experience and well it's better not to talk of international football, then what's the problem of Alvarez going for 95m ? Leave the hate ,I'm not even city fan
Sorry mate you sound proper jealous.😂 imagine having a go at a team and the Premier league for selling a player. Talking about 80 million for a backup striker yet you got rashford who only plays 3 months a season and some of you soft lads think he's worth 100+ million 😅

I like Mark, but saying "We want a competitive league" after decades of Man Utd dominating the league in a similar manner to Man City, but still endlessly criticising Man City for dominating the league like Man U did is embarrassing.
Alvarez has completed football before the age of 23. How is he overpriced? You need to put your hatred for city aside and look at this from a logical perspective and not an emotional one
@@gustaaf1892 how many trophies did the other clubs win? Instead of blaming city, keep your own team accountable. There were times where United had Van Persie and Rooney. @@Kazifu_Gaming I don't trust City in anything they do. They have dishonest owners. For all I know they have provided Atletico with money through a third party so that they can buy Alvarez for an inflated fee. Oil rich Arabs think they can buy anything and won't stop at anything to get their way.
Alverez had a contract with city till 2028, more than 30 goal involments whilst out of position, united spent 72 million on hojlund and 86 million on Anthony. You need to stop whining mate

When united won 6 in 7 its fair isn't it goldbridge when city do it they are a juggernaut Jealousy at its peak that's the joke in all of this. I don't even support city.
Don't disrespect Alvarez like that. For the entire season the general consensus around Alvarez was he was not supposed to be a bench player. Pep tried to use him as a winger because benching him was an injustice. Maybe instead of complaining, you should demand that Manchester United gets better and spends money better.
I’m a Liverpool fan and Alvarez would get into most premier league teams if not all apart from City because of Haaland. Reserve striker is a bit of a stretch United and Arsenal would love to have Alvarez as their number 9. Yes they need to be charged for the 115 charges but this is a stretch
United were once in that enviable position … just takes an Arnold Abott and Murtough Costello to screw everything up … it’s the Glazers fault we can’t compete with City
wtf bro, i really dont like city as well and stuff, but what do you think alvarez would be worth? alvarez is crazy versatile, and proven on the biggest stage. i mean he literally benches lautaro for argentinia, who everyone agrees is worth more than 80mil.
It’s jealousy man. Goldbridge is praying to Satan that City’s charges are proven or else he will have to admit the hard truth. City are just better in every facet. Why else would United get our previous ceo Berreda it they though City were “dodgy”
What's not fair about City being a well run football club? They signed Alverez for cheap and sold for high. Nothing stopping other clubs doing the same.
Huh? I think this is too cheap. Alvarez is only not starting for city bcs they have haaland… This is the striker that would start in a current world XI over every other striker. Alvarez is starting for argentine and has done so when they won the wc. Has been playing great for years. He is worth 80-120 mil bcs of his age. When i look at what was paid for hojlund… Alvarez is a bargain
I hate Scum City with a passion but I don't really see your point on this one. What exactly is a joke here? If Atletico wanna pay 81m for a player bought for 14m a few years ago, that's their business lol. Pep has clearly just developed him really well, there’s no conspiracy here
As a Hall of Fame City Hater too they got fair value for their player instead of how United or Chelsea do business. Overpay for hyped up Ajax/Atletico/Brighton/Dortmund prospect players then Lowball Everton for a guaranteed good defender in Brainthwaite then overpay for a random teenager in the French league no one has heard off. I'm Certain City will steal Brainthwaite now and United will panic in the last week of the window and overpay some championship team or relagation foderteam for their CB. United even tried to steal the Amadou Onana deal from Aston Villa they simply couldn't outbid Villa cus they want to do installments.
You just sound proper bitter on your Alverez take Mark. I'm a Liverpool fan I think he probably starts for every other team in the league. Excellent business by city.
No way this clown went from saying we can't compete with City because they have the second best striker in the league. Julian on the bench he starts for every other team. Now it's how can we get 80 million for the second best striker in the league 😂😂
