The example was exactly what I searched for! I started using Andis pet clippers, the kind for coarse hair. They last longer than the $30-$50 Walmart kits. I got 2 or 3 cuts from the Walmart clippers before the motor had problems and the blades were shot. My Andis clippers have lasted 2 years so far using the same blades. Just keep them oiled.
@@LanDope I just assume most pet clippers are gonna be more heavy duty than most human hair clippers. I'd buy some sheep clippers if I had to do it again XD
This is a great video. i have to say that the number 6 guard is the perfect length. I got a 6 on top and 4 back and sides and it’s literally the perfect haircut.
@@LanDope that's great that you're recovered! As for your next video, can you talk about blending? I've been having trouble blending my numbers. I always leave a hard line
Here's the thing, I have trouble blending as well and no one wants advice from someone who can't do what he's making a video about 😅😅. I usually struggle blending between the 1 and 2 guards.
@@LanDope today I cut my hair as well and one side blended beautifully but I rushed the other side and it didnt go too well either. Haha. I was thinking of making a video of me giving myself a haircut but I dont think anyone wants to see the massacre haha
I always just tried go over it over and over again with my hand to try to get it down. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. And also the higher the guard the more my hair stuck out so idk lol
