In the course of the couple of months watching and listening to Dan I changed from “Metal singer covers ….” to “Dan Vasc singing whatever he damn well wants to” and I’m loving the journey.

Yes, please more Dan Vasc. Pick any song on his extensive catalog and it will be a winner. Nessun Dorma by Dan is out of this world. Dan has had extensive classical and modern music training and has even taught singing lessons to others to earn a living before his success on RU-vid. He is working on another Bon Jovi cover right now so get ready to be amazed all over again. Loved your reaction and appreciate your support of Dan. My current favorite Dan Vasc cover is “Bring Me to Life” (an Evanescence cover); but his covers are each incredibly his own. He OWNS whatever he sings. To answer your question: yes, he’s had some operatic training (full training requires at least a decade). My sister is a retired Viennese opera singer. Her first comment when I played “Bring Me to Life” was his posture, breath & voice control, and vowel modification showed operatic training. Listen to that song. Dan’s voice ranges from sensuous lyrical phrases to high screams, from whispers to hard metal growls, and from soft to loud - all with perfect control. Her term is “vocal intelligence,” meaning Dan knows how to completely use his instrument.

It's a New Jersey accent. I grew up there. Jon was lead singer in a band our friend was in, he was still in high school at the time. The band was called The Rest.

The first time I heard one of Dan's Bon Jovi covers, I had to do a double take because of how similar his voice sounded to what I remembered of Bon Jovi's (it's been a hot second since I've listened to that genre). I saw Bon Jovi back in 89 or 90 with Skid Row and another band I don't remember. Great show. If you weren't aware, Dan has a bet with Gary (Nerdrotics) to get to 1 million subs. The guys on Friday Night Tights (podcast on Nerdrotics' channel on Fridays) told Dan, when he was on recently, that if he would have covered the Ken song from the Barbie movie (whatever it's called), he would have most likely smoked Gary on the bet already.

I always enjoy your reactions to Dan. He is just the best and could listen to him all day. Have you hear his latest cover of My Heart Will Go On and he working on a tribute album of Manowar. As a huge fan of both Bon Jovi and Dan Vasc, I’m loving your reactions to these! In answer to your questions: - Dan has classical training. He’s posted kudos to his voice teacher for advocating him being a metal singer in a classical training school. - Have you seen Jon’s recent interviews? In the past few years he had vocal paralysis issues, and has had surgery for that. So correct, he wasn’t able to hit those high notes for some time. But he has been going through physical therapy and said he’s got about 80% of his voice back so far. So it’s looking good for future tours!

But As I understand it you're getting the shows often Netflix they've changed The songs so there not Exactly the same As the ones if you got the DVD of the show. After supernatural He He stars in Walker which is a remake of walker Texas ranger. The show is well worth the investment of Your time. Jared and Jensen are also very easy on the eyes
