Even if it wasn't simultaneously with the men's Tour de France, it wouldn't, get the media attention it deserves. Unfortunately, that's the faith of professional women's sports. Right now, the average sport spectator is a chauvinistic man but things are changing. When watching, I am always amazed by the improvements that women cycling went through in the last ten years. This is the result of a simple principle. Put money into it and you'll get results. As younger girls see these pro women, they'll get inspired and the talent pool, the working conditions will improve, the wages will increase and so will the viewership. Corporations won't leave 50% of their consumers on the table. They'll invest more and more into it.

Women hour record is over 50km! Fausto Coppi rode 45,7km in 1942! Coppi could ride 49km with modern bike! Ladies cycling today is like Coppi/Bartali 1948!

My bet is that with your own hour record, you wouldn't even be good enough to be a professional women cyclist. How manly does that make you feel ?

@@sylvainmichaud2262 The british army calculeted formula 76/69 diffrence between Men and women! Usain Bolt 9,58x76/69=10,55 two ladies are faster than Bolt Griffith Joyner 10,49 and Thompson Herah 10,54! If Ganna hour record 56,7km so ladies should do 50,8-51km to be as good! I do like women sport!!
