there are a lot of similarities between King Nothing and Enter Sandman.. James acknowledged that whispering " Off to never, never land" at the very end.
I always viewed this song as an allegory for narcissism and how narcissistic people viewed themselves as better than others, until someone snaps them out of the delusion
Man this is such a BADASS track!!! It's commonly known as Enter Sandman pt. 2, but I personally love it waaay more than Enter Sandman; there's just something about it... (not that I don't love Enter Sandman) Great reaction as always Dave!!! Oh and yeah, that solo knocks me out EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.😅😤🤘 Much Love & Respect🙏🤘
Now that you are truly Metallica fan , you can listen to it all I wonder if you did “Eye of the beholder” most definitely one of the most underrated song , the lyrics are great !!!!
Bro how havent you reacted to all of their song from the master of puppets album? The greatest metal album of all time! So far in on metallica but damn your really need to complete that album!
Hey Dave, i think you should check out the band Newsted, which was created by the former Metallica Bassist Jason Newsted, the band only made one album and a few tours before Jason Newsted disbanded the band due to lack of income from the project, since he paid all band members, arranged tours alone, bought equipment and instruments and everything else out from his own pocket and so he was sadly in the negative after a couple of years (not bad negative like bankrupt but he was still a little bit below break even) The band has an amazing sound that has a little bit of everything. I would love for you to experience the four following songs. Soldierhead, As the crow flies, Heroic dose, and king of the underdogs.
Lotta haters out there that don't care for them but Load and Re-Load are badass and shows there talents. Love Death Magnetic as well. Try The Fixxxer next.
This just unlocked an AWESOME memory! Somewhere around 2010 I lived in Europe, and two of my daughters played the military version of travel ball. There was one team whose coach was the biggest dick I have ever witnessed. Ever. I could not understand why the parents of those kids subjected them to that and I’m not talking regular harsh coast stuff, it was really degrading type comments SCREAMED in their faces. We beat their butts ALL THE TIME. In three years, they beat us at one game. Anyways, each team will get to the field early to warm up and when it was against this guy, I would always pull my vehicle up right by in between the two teams practicing and play this song as loudly as I could at Every. Single. Game. I guess during the last year he finally went and looked at the lyrics. He would just death stare me. And, of course, because he was such a dick, he was not about to come have a “chat” with me about it. Absolutely no balls and no moral fortitude to be found.
See MetallicA elitist. Here is a dude that knows what a great song this is, and didn't complain about Kirk Hammett's wah wah's. Matter of fact, he made the stinky crybaby face. Why Kirk named his own brand of pedal the "Crybaby" Bravo What It Do! 👏 BTW I'm as devoted as a MetallicA fan that you could meet, and anyone that hates their new stuff is just a one way thinker. Gotta have variety!
