Ford should look into that dealer and pull the sales contract. I have a ford and it’s been awesome. Some little hiccups like death wobble many times in the 4yrs and 130k that’s on it. But it’s a great truck.

I was a lifelong Ford guy. Needed to get an F450 during the pandemic. Our local Ford dealership in rural Georgia were awful. $98k on a 40k mile 2018 F450. The sticker was $75k. Wouldn’t negotiate. Not to mention, they acted like they were doing me a favor just talking to me. These guys have no problem taking advantage of their hardworking neighbors. I went RAM and won’t go back. Our community will remember though.
You just needed to find a different dealership. Its not a “Ford” thing, it’s the franchised dealership thing. GM and Chrysler dealers are doing the same thing.
@@akshonclip I extended my search out 250 miles. No luck. The Ford guys as a whole, did seem more arrogant. Found Mark Dodge in Louisiana. Best car buying experience ever. About 4% under invoice on an order in the thick of the craziness. They will continue to get my business.
The salesman was knowledgeable and experienced. It looks like this is his career, not just a stop between other gigs as it is with so many other car salesmen.
He was very polite, patient as well. I'm one of these people that when a complete stranger starts talking a lot with long stories and unnecessary details it makes me uncomfortable.
Before internet, dealers were printing there own sticker with higher prices. "The Farmer" magazine had a MPLS ,MN dealer suck in out of town buyer, by time you added up options and taxes you didn't know what the sticker was.
It is nice knowing there are dealers that will sell a truck for about $3,000 more than they paid for. I went to a dealership once that had a used 2020 F 450 limited that had 20k miles and they were asking $105,000 because they paid $100,000 for it. I offered $70,000 and told them they are they scum of the earth for asking a little more than they paid for it. I should be allowed to dictate the price. Although, when it comes to my trade in, I want full blown retail. I don't think dealerships should be allowed to make any money. I hope Ford goes direct to consumer so I can get screwed without ever seeing them in person.
The automaker shortage really brought out the shady dealerships and they were no longer trying to hide their greed & backstabbing. The good dealers will be apparent so you’ll know where to shop for the future
@@sirelliott3753 the dealership that let me order a van at MSRP then tacked on $2000 worth of BS like shadowmarking etc I sold them my 2018 mustang after. Told me what he paid and what all they had to replace. I specifically sold it to them broken on purpose.
@@ikecostner1 did the kid get burned? Not your fault if he did but that's the only crap part I see. Carvana doesn't inspect the vehicles they buy and they don't let you get vehicle inspected before you buy

I had the same issue when I bought my new 2022 2500HD. All the big dealers were shady as heck and wanted $5k-10k over MSRP. I went to Park Hill Chevy in Missouri. They are a small town dealership. They were honest, friendly, and fair with pricing. No fees and no hidden costs. Everyone should avoid shady dealerships regardless of brand.
@@tophervonhinterwaldler5833 They wouldn't have those big dealerships if they weren't making 50% or more on a vehicle. I used to work at a boat dealership and I got to see the invoices when they received the new boats. They would get the boats for a 1/3 of sticker and motors for half of sticker.

Agreed, most salesman I've met I know more than they did....and I've bought 6 trucks since 2020.......incredible how they don't know their own product.....they also weren't their 6 months later when I returned
The dealer I deal with actually have it as two different positions. The salesperson mainly just deals with the financing, test drives, and a few other things. Then they have delivery specialists who really research the vehicles, their features, and will give you a rundown on how to use said features and answer the questions. But for this salesman wearing both of those hats, he did great. I think the only thing he kind of got wrong was the drive modes part (which mainly just controls throttle response and transmission shift points).
Nice truck and I'm glad you got a fair deal. I never understand why some car dealers play so many games, car sales are extremely profitable as it is and a smart dealer will NEVER let a serious, ready to go buyer walk out the door - that's literally like burning up cash! That guy Zach at V &H probably does very well in sales, he's on point.
For anyone wondering I’m like 99% sure the name of the place is Ron Tirapelli Ford. It’s near Chicago and has the name that fits what’s in the screenshot at 4:07
Hey Stan. I spent years in the auto industry. When a dealer advertises a low ball truck, they call it a 'loss leader'. It is usually a bare-bones version in an undesirable color and options package. They use it to generate contact and upsell the customer to a more expensive one that has the features that most customers are looking for. When the dealer refuses to sell that particular truck for the advertised price, that is false- advertising. If they try to switch you to a differed truck that they will sell you for that price, that's bait and switch.
99.999999% confidence that offer above is a spammer baiting you into giving them money - play along if you want, but DO NOT do anything that gives them money or information on your banking details. They're NOT Stan!
Back in the day. When the caravan became third GEN. My boss purchased three of them. They were all the ones that were advertised at that low discount rate price. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. We’re on the bottom of the ad it says we only have one. He bought it. Then he waited for the next weeks ad. Then he bought that caravan. Then he waited I think two months before another ad showed up one at this price. And he bought that one. It was comical because he got him at the price that was in the paper. All stripped. Basic dodge caravans. Are used for shuttling consumers around. We would dump them at 200,000 miles. But it’s a good lesson to learn. One of which is patience
You're right. And in order to do that legally they have to actually have that vehicle to sell. They can try and upsell all they want, and the customer can have expectations that it has options it doesnt but if they advertise that vehicle at that price it should be available. Sounds like this guy is a bit mistaken. The dealer website lists MSRP. That isn't offering it for sale at MSRP. It's just a fact about the vehicle. No different than stating the color or what engine it has. And MSRP is just like it stands for suggested. Good dealers wanting markup will just list contact us to avoid what this guy went through. And who calls a customer back and continues on with their "position" when the person obviously thought they could buy at MSRP and you told them no. That's just the epitome of what's wrong with the car business in situations like we've had the last couple of years
I purchased an advertised lost leader F150 SuperCab years ago. It was XLT Trim with bench seat, short bed, inline 6 cylinder, 5 Speed manual transmission, Super engine cooling with tow package and bigger alternator, prewired for electric trailer brakes. $5,000 under MSRP. When I said "I'll take it" the dealer tried to talk me out of it, it's a six cylinder with manual trans, "yep, I'll take it" lol.
This salesman was great! When I purchased my 2015 Nissan Frontier, I fortunately had a similar experience. They had the vehicle I wanted- manual windows and door locks, two wheel drive. $25,990 (basically 26k). I'd originally been looking for a Toyota Tundra, but used Tundras were MORE than the new Nissan! So, after telling them what I wanted, and they had that exact model on the lot, I bought the Nissan. I've never regretted that.
Glad to see your great experience at a local small town dealership. That's what's great about Northern and Central WI. Most dealerships are honest and down to earth on their vehicles they're selling. A Boss DXT would look fabulous on the front of that truck!
2 points I picked up from this video. Don’t pay over MSRP for a vehicle; there are still honest dealerships who value your returning business over greed. Also, if you plan on keeping it then purchase the extended warranty. It will save you money in the long run.
Another great video, Stan. Glad to see you buying another Ford! I have a 2010 F150 with the FX4 package, and it comes with all the towing bells and whistles. Pulls my 6800lb travel trailer like its not even there. That "pull-the-button" differential lock is a great feature that has saved my ass a couple times.
I appreciate the effort you put into finding good deals an solid products for everyday business use for all of us. You have saved me so much time it’s incredible so Thankyou Stan
Unfortunately some dealerships have lost my confidence. While I understand that they want to make the most money they can their actions can destroy a brand name. This was a great example of a dealership that is trying to make a decent deal without price gouging. Great video.
Love the video! I was at a dealership trying to buy a truck. I had been looking all day and planned on going home with a truck. The dealer kept trying to sell me a truck 6k over what it was worth. I finally decided to write a check and handed it to the salesman and told him to take it or leave it. They took it.
Stan, I can't tell you how many times I've walked out of a dealership just because of an arrogant salesperson or a condescending attitude. A lot of times they call me back and I tell them why I won't spend my money at their dealership. I enjoy buying a new vehicle.
I know of one instance, back in the early eighties, of a fleet order for 17 4WD vehicles going through a local dealer and 18 free-wheel hubs for them. The franchise/dealership owner (most tight-fisted, penny wise- pound foolish* idiot you'll ever meet) questioned this and told the person who placed the order that he'd have to pay retail, not 'trade' price, for the last set of hubs because it was for his personal vehicle... Order immediately cancelled, ALL parts and work following that from that point went through a dealership an a nearby town - besides the initial order, this was well into 6 figures, a year, even 30+ years ago, as they worked on other vehicles as well. Possibly the biggest "you work commision?" was back in the seventies when a scruffy guy was in a nearby agricultural dealer (IH?) asking about tractors and other machinery. Head salesman basically snubbed him and a junior salesman took over - turned out he was buying for one of the biggest farms in the area, he ended up buying multiple machines and I understand it was over a million bucks, all up, which was a LOT of money back then! Got vague recollection that he may have bought a house on the commision (certainly should have covered a decent deposit), but may be mistaken? *if you don't know the expression, it means someone so focussed on small amounts of money they miss the importance of larger amounts and make stupid decisions that means a net loss.
@@Dirtmonkey I walked out of a dealership with a customer. I was actually the salesman and on my third day I had a customer and all he wanted was the price of the vehicle and how much he was getting for his trade. They wouldn't tell him or me this info. I’ve had the 7.3 with the 10 speed for almost 2 years. Zero issues with shifting during towing. It’s just different than the 6 speed in the way it feels while accelerating. The RPM range is really small with the 10 speed so the engine never really revs up under normal loads. Personally I like it.

Hey Stan, just wanted to say that we have had the best luck with Ford trucks. We have been in business for 16 years in Denver Colorado as an electrical contractor. Colorado mountain driving puts vehicles to the test with high altitude and steep inclines. We have had other makes and always had problems with transmissions and rear diffrentials.
Stan, after seraching MN for months for an F350 we ended up in Huntley, IL at a Ford dealership and sadly had a similar if not worse experience. At one point my wife and I felt they were extorting us and when we asked for our keys to our trade in back to leave we were held hostage at the dealership in till we came to an agreement. Thank goodness for honest and fair businesses that still exist!
I went to look at a vehicle we were interested in when I lived in Oregon. They didn’t give numbers I was happy with and wouldn’t give me back my keys. I had to pull out my cell phone and start calling the police for them to bring me my truck and keys. Holding you hostage is a tactic they use.
I'm shopping for used f150s and they're like 6k+ over everywhere else at least in MN I've been close to flying to another state to buy a truck because it's still way less expensive gas and ticket included
I also went to go buy a car once and when they didn't give me retail for my trade in so they can't make any money I said "I'm outta here" they pulled my pants down and threw pies at me. It was the worst experience ever and I will never go back there again. I was hoping they would discount their vehicle also even though I knew the price before showing up. I know they probably make 90% profit from each vehicle they sell so I thought asking for a $500 discount was reasonable. I won't say what dealer it was because they threatened to shoot me if I ever told anyone. Dealers are so shady.
Awesome video went through everything I needed to know and explained everything nicely 👍 this is how it's done I'm glad you walked in with some knowledge and all the homework done on your part to know your getting what you want with the price you're willing to pay great gob
Happy for you bro , took me 6 months several states to find my super duty. Everyone wanted over sticker. I was about to give up and went to the dealership right down the road one more time and low and behold. They had a 2022 6.7 stx. Exactly the way I wanted rubber flooring, 4x4 cloth seats power windows and locks (yes they have some with hand crank windows still) I was able to get it at sticker , I came with a check ready to go and the sales guy was acting as if it wasn’t gonna happen. Sales manager did the deal. Be patient folks. They are still some good dealers out there. Plus lifetime power train warranty
Wow there is still an actual honest dealer out there. I've been keeping my 2008 Ford F450 because they have become so crooked, May have to check this out. Thanks Stan!
Wow. I can't believe you enjoy that 6.4 assuming it's the diesel and not the V-10? Those 6.4 trucks have had so many issues with emissions and turbos and so many other things that most people can't get rid of them. I see so many of them for sale with blown motors or an injector or two out. I was a Ford tech at a few dealerships before these came out so I never worked on them but I've done the research and read so much about them as well as watched so many videos to know that I wouldn't want to own one. I would feel like I was driving a ticking time bomb. If it's been working out for you, that's great. But I would suggest to sell it before you have something happen to it because if something does happen, it's gonna be hard to sell. Especially if the potential buyer knows anything about the 6.4
And you wanting top dollar for your worked to death truck isn’t crooked? So if one guy offered you $10k and another offered $20k you’re trying to tell us your taking the $10? Because if you sold to the guy paying $20k you would be the crooked hypocrite
Wasn’t planning on buying a new truck this year, was very happy with my 2018 Ford. But it was totaled by a girl that blew a stop sign. When I went shopping, the dealerships for the most part were arrogant and rude. Then I went to a dealer I used to always think was a little pricier, and they kept everything at msrp, still gave incentives, and treated me right. They were fantastic.
I bought a Chevy van in 96 when they changed the body style. I ordered it and had to wait 9 months for it. The dealer I went to wanted $800 more than their cost which is $300 more than I usually paid but it was a hot item... no big deal. PS: 9 months to wait because GM took care of the conversion van dealers first... Great video.

I live in Missouri, drove to Michigan in 2006 to buy a Mustang GT convertible due to the same deal. That was when Ford was clearing the lots of excess inventory, and I ended up with a 72 month finance deal, 0%, and even rolled the sales taxes into the loan as well. Folks at other dealers were playing games with prices, or just refusing to sell inventory listed units, so I just kept moving outward on the map to the next dealer. Finally found one near Detroit who had the unit sitting on the lot, was actually selling it, and would take that price, so I told them I'd drive up and sign the paperwork Monday. Hauled up there with my trailer, they had us take it for a test drive before we loaded it up. Wonderful service. Although my wife was upset after driving it that I loaded it on the trailer. She wanted to drive it home! Some dealers are just A+ on service.
Also with the traction control, you can turn it off like he showed you by clicking it once, but after you do that, hold the button down till your dash says “advance trac off” and it shuts it down even more so your tired can spin more without it kicking on. Clicking it once only limits the slippage for a small % but advance trac off holding it till it says it cuts it to spin at a higher % before kicking in. There is also a sport trac off by double or triple clicking the button either before or after doing the previous ones. Not sure what it does but it is another option that you have on top of the other ones.
That pull out button on the 4wd selector knob is the equivalent of an electronic diff lock/posi traction rear end. But if I'm not mistaken it kicks out/turns off/unlocks over 20 mph. I have a 2013 F-150 4wd that has that option.
Great information in the video. Honestly I’d like to see you do a wideout or a wideout xl, it’s my 14th year with one and I love it for parking lots. Everyone on RU-vid got the other plows, maybe only a few others showing what the wideout could really do.
Ford and their tow/haul mode has been on point since they cane out with the 6.0 powerstroke. The 5r110 and 6r110 transmissions have been phenomenal as well. They just work.
So true. Even after 08 and up were way smoother. The 2011 -13gasser with the 6.2 gas has a smart trans you can try all you want to burnout it will not spin the wheels it will chirp them but not let you light them up. This helps when towing cause you can confidently get on the gas and not worry that its gonna leave skids all down the road.
Your video is priceless....Every Ford dealership within 200 miles of my home town in Phoenix is charging 20-30K over MSRP for the truck I want...I'm going to talk with V & H and see what we can work out. If it's as you've shown, for me as well, I'll be forever grateful. Buying my trucks in years past prior to 2018 was always the way it was for you in this video....Dealerships have gone beyond greedy...It's why FORD announced the "Agency" dealership model we hopefully will soon see after FORD starts with it in Europe...
Reminds me of when I was shopping for a truck earlier this year. The Ford Dealer told me they were marking up their trucks and for a plain 2020 F150 with 100K miles they wanted almost 50K. They also pressured me extremely hard to buy the truck when I told them when I walked in that I was not buying a truck that day. Ended up getting a loaded 2018 Ram 1500 Sport for 38K at a dealership that let me drive anything I wanted and let me come drive vehicles 2 different days and leave without any pressure. Good dealers are fantastic but there are so many horrible ones out there. Thank you for showing a fantastic dealership!
Not tryna knock ya dude, but you'll regret that Ram purchase. My neighbor had to have a new engine put in his and it only had only 900 miles on it. He uploaded a youtube video about it

Smh Hope you don't Really Think You Got A Deal. Lol 😆 🤣 Least you did get the Vaseline Deal. BAHAHAHAHA Ain't no damn way , I'll ever pay either of those prices
My 2017 F250 w/ 6.2 6speed 3.73 gears has been crazy solid. With my work schedule I don’t put a lot of miles but when I’m off I tow 9500 lbs 50% of the time. Not a brand guy but this 6.2 has been the most reliable power train I ever owned out of a dozen gas HD trucks. I really like these videos showing how crooked most of these dealers are. You have to do your homework or they will try to walk all over you. Great Video.
Congrats Stan on the new truck. We have fords and gm, doesn’t really matter as long as it gets the job done. Would like to hear your opinion on the wideout
The different drive modes just change transmission shift points and throttle sensitivity. The rear locker can be used in 2h 4h or 4l. Its only purpose is to lock one rear wheel to the other rear wheel for added traction. 4L reduces the gearing to add more "torque",ie, helping pull a heavier load up a slippery grade.
I really like your videos! I had a similar “horrible dealer” experience recently, whatever anybody seeing this does….stay as far away as you can from Huntley FORD in Huntley Illinois….worst bait-n-switch dealer experience I have ever had! Finding a honest dealer is tough, but definitely well worth, especially for what these trucks cost now!
Stan: Nice Truck! Congratulations and sounds like a great dealership. With the commercial plowing you do, I would go with the Western plow system. I custom ordered a 2022 F350 Lariet Powerstroke 6.7 back in Dec 2021. They quoted me the MSRP at $71K. Pandemic delayed the build so I got it in Aug 2022 (not fun but understandable). With the delay the MSRP went up by $5k on the sticker but because they issued the quote before the build, the dealership stuck with the quoted price. Very happy with my Dealership: Fox Ford of Cadillac (Northern Mich - lots of snow). FYI: The 4WD-L does not lock the diff automatically, it just locks the 4WD system in and drops the gear ratio for added torque - you still need to engage the diff lock with the knob (read the manual). Just a note: there are some recent software updates released on these 2022's so make sure they have updated the system. I have owned these with the locking diff since 2014 and only had to use it once (deep sand). Let us know how you like it with the Snow plow on it.
It’s the dealer that makes the difference. You showed that when you bought the Kubota mini-excavator. I have found over the years that brands can take a back seat to dealers. It was our Caterpillar dealer in Jersey, Foley Machinery, that made all the difference to my bosses.
great video. January 2022 in Los Angeles they were selling similair trucks for about $6k above MSRP.. this was chevy and also inventory seemed a little slim but that was my experience. interest rates were still really low then. told them i was flexible could pay cash or finance. no calls back. seems like a great deal. sexy truck btw!!!!
Good to see you hooked up with another great Wisconsin Ford dealer. I have a 2020 f250 with the 7.3 and the 10 speed and I agree with Zach, I feel it's a much better shifting option than the 6 speed but as long as it gets you down the road, it doesn't really matter. But I don't plow with mine either. But being from the home of Boss I'm going to say you put the boss on because I'm extremely prejudiced and I admit it lol. Great video my friend
wow this guy is great in his way of doing business. I even liked the warranty guys approach to how not to up sell but to tell you how and what would happen if you decided to put on the plow. great video.
Very helpful video. I've been struggling between engine options. I have one F-250 that is a 6.2 gaser and one that is a diesel currently. Picking up a new truck and I've been struggling between the three options. I think I'll go with the tried and true diesel outperforms them all but it's just not necessary for the increased expense and maintenance. These trucks are capable
The company I work for is going to gas trucks from diesels less issues with all the emissions garbage and front ends last way longer on logging roads. Even deleted the diesels are causing more issues.

Rare to see such a knowledgeable salesperson 👍! Rear differential lock is basically the same thing as posi traction, in the old days. Basically when you do a burnout you lay down two stripes, if it's locked. Lol 😂
@@drewrbunn you aren't trying that hard then. You can't just drive on gravel roads when it's rained and think that it's a big deal. What does one have to do with the other? Furthermore, they aren't the same comparisons. So, I'm confused as to why you're bringing up the last comment since it's not relevant given the circumstances. Curious to see how the 6.2s do I’ve heard good things but I feel like Stan gives yah the best no hold back opinions and I’d like to see a nice stainless plow on it would look great
Wow, you can really see the pain in that salesman's face. He really didn't have time for all that story telling. He was just trying to be nice by tolerating all that story. You even see him looking back as he obviously had other things that needed his attention. If you're going to buy the truck, buy it and don't waste all that man's time.
I sold cars a couple decade's ago and made 70K a year on average. I know a couple people still at it and they both made nearly 200K and showed me proof when I called BS. Both worked at a RAM/Jeep store which I bet Ford is even better.
Found your channel a week ago and have been watching a few videos. Was hoping to see some wide out reviews and comparisons to the vplows. Ran a regular wide out years ago on an old diesel and loved the versatility. Now running the wideout xl on a 1 ton 6.2 gasser and love it. In larger lots I typically support tractors or loaders but small to medium lots I go solo and do quite well with it. I've also run a vplow on a small tractor for driveways and occasionally some bigger lots when needed but really wish it had a wide out.
I watched more of his videos a year or two ago but haven't really watched any up until a few days ago. What you're describing I would think he would have on here as he seems to have a very large inventory of different types of plows and he's done various comparison videos over the years. I don't know if maybe he just doesn't have it labeled the way it would make it easy to find but I would be surprised if he didn't have it on his channel. At the very least, I'm betting that someone has to have done a comparison on RU-vid somewhere so if you do a search for it, I'll bet you can find it. YT has just about everything.
Nice looking truck glad you got it at a decent price. And that dealer you got it from seems to be very honest. I’ve worked at dealers before as a tech, and that’s why toolboxes have wheels cause I’ve worked at bad dealers and I can tell you the dealers that try and ripoff at sales it leads right into ripping off at service and parts aswell.
I had a similar experience with a local Toyota dealership. I researched and chose a 4Runner with a particular package that I wanted. Went to this dealer because they had one incoming. They wanted to add a $5,000 non negotiable dealer add on or as they worded it “tax that NJ makes them add”. They stated it added certain features to the car. Called them out on their BS and got no where. I for schlitz and giggles went on to the website for the dealer I use to work for and they had the same 4Runner in stock with upgraded wheels. Got it at a great deal with an extended warranty all out the door for less than the other dealers offer.
This reminds me of the first dealer car I ever bought. Took the test drive and all and suddenly the price was higher. We were young but knew enough to say we wanted to pay the price we were told at the beginning. The manager even came out offered me his hand, we shook hands and he said. "it's been real." Just to insult me. We walked out and they called us later with the original price. (There weren't a lot of options to buy a car on Hawaii at the time.)
Hello Stan, Love the channel. I used to work for a dealer and I can tell you that most of the manufacturers are frowning on this practice. Contact Ford directly and advise them of the situation at your previous dealership. They have better remedies when dealing with resellers (dealerships).
The salesman was very accommodating in this situation compared to what you dealt with prior. But the electronic locking rear diff is almost a 2k option. But he is correct, YOU WANT IT FOR THE HARD WORK.
All my RU-vid channels (you and Victory) are buying new toys before the end of the year. Lol. I drive a 2014 F-150 and it has the locking differential too. It’s an awesome feature. Good luck with it Stan.
so no dealers in chicago. got it! Thank you for hitting them up with real questions. so many dealers will lie to you about the warranty and extended warranty among many other things.
I think I remember Zach from a previous video involving a new truck and his product knowledge was legendary. If I needed a truck, I'd be willing to drive 500 miles+ to talk with this gentleman!
Stanley, I have the exact same truck but loaded with the lariat package with leather and all the bells and whistles. I LOVE IT! I’m glad I switched to this truck over the diesels. I average about 16-17mpg, and put 400-700 miles on a week, plus snow plowing. I paired my truck to a Western MVP3, because I love western plows, and also because the front mount stays tucked up tight to the bumper. The boss mounts hang so low id always worry about hitting it on things. Besides it’s ugly. But the truck has been pushing snow here in WI and doing an awesome job!
Getting 16-17 because it’s still on factory tires, I drive it nice (unless I’m plowing) and a lot of these miles are on the highway. Typically drive about an hour or so to and from my jobsites on the interstate
I just bought a brand new Ford 3 ish weeks ago! So far so good! The dealer makes all the difference IMO! I hope you have a great night! Any snow for you?
Glad it’s working out for ya! The dealer can make or brake it. We just got about a week of fluff and now some heavy icy snow coming down for the next few days. Getting ready 😅👊
I was a car salesman around 10yrs ago and I sold between 20-30 cars a month here in south Louisiana a small town and I can say that maybe 1 or 2 of those sales a month we're at MSRP and that was usually a business that didn't care because of tax write offs or just a bad credit customer that didn't care and just want to buy a car that day. What these dealerships are doing now is killing their repeat customer that comes back in 2 years because now they can't their car will be so upside down on value vs money owed they will be stuck with it.
Hi Stanley. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Your content is always engaging. I would like to see you hang a SnowEX 8611 Power Plow on the new Ford. I think you would be happier with the SnowEx version over the Wide Out simply because of direct lift system. Plus the optional down pressure feature. As you probably already know. Same parent company as Western, but in my opinion, SnowEx has some little bit better User Friendly features. Mostly speaking of the attach/detach system. Looking forward to see what your decision is.
Not by pre-covid prices, but now it is a decent price since it's hard to get vehicles from vehicle manufacturers and dealers. Seems rather bizarre that we should be begging them to let us buy something though. :-/
That's a ridiculous price for a truck. They are no longer work cars, they are luxury cars that might do a little work in it's life. They have raised the prices of all trucks like over 20k in the past 5 years. It's disgusting.
This has been a particular problem in the auto dealerships the last few years with the crazy demand and shortages of vehicles. Ford specifically has had trouble with this and is finding ways to "fine" dealerships who do these massive mark ups. They tried selling the little mavericks at 50% over msrp.
We went with a 6.2 f250 in September because of fuel prices. Been great so far. 6.7’s we had were the cats $&@ but for $14k more cdn on the msrp and 70 cents more per litre it didn’t make sense. I would go with a western wideout xl. Western imo has the best mount to hookup. You can interchange the mvp vblades you have. Moves a lot of snow. F14 imo is too big unless you have a diesel truck. That will bog down the 6.2’s and 7.3’s for those 8” heart attack snow storms. Even the f12 is big. I believe the wideout is 1025lbs. Wideout xl is 1075lbs. F12 is 1250lbs I believe. Not sure what the F14 is but 175lbs more between the XL and f12 adds up. Great video Stan!
