I always saw him as a maniac and lunatic he is, could not understand people thinking he just have issues, misunderstood guy...NOOOO...he is stalker, serial murder with obsessions, lunatic, maniac, not sure if he is psychopath or sociopath or even have schizophrenia. Does not matter at the end, he needs to be locked up or dead not to hurt anymore people. That was really in your face form season 1. I am scared that many women think that he was romantic, no he was delusional and serial murder ...with the need to stalk and hunt. He will not stop until he is stopped.
if it took you THIS long to see how crazy joe is then you've got some issues lmaoo! joe has literally done this crazy shit since the very first season. you were never supposed to romanticise him.
My favorite thing about this show is ever since Season 2, the show runners do a good job convincing us or making us want to have Joe change or is at least trying to, but it always reveals he's truly just a monster.
They really made us stop justifying Joe’s actions or root for him in this episode, which I love. I also love how they gave more of a purpose to Marianne’s character, because that was one of the issues I had with part one. Btw this also makes Netflix’s choice to have a brief hiatus/break between both parts more understandable 🎉
Dude at first i was starting to feel the season was generic and super practical for Rhys to be the killer, having this be the twist brought me right back into immersion, real good season
Writing of this show is actually insane as anybody realize that the scenes with Marienne telling story to her daughter in paris that they showed in this episode actually happen after Marienne was saved by Nadia from the glass cage in the season finale but we won't notice until finale as we don't yet know at this point that Marienne gonna be saved or not from joe's cage we just think this scenes are her imagination while being trapped in glass cage🙌
I’ve made the mistake of reading theories between part 1 and part 2 (on the netflix page…), saying that Joe could be imagining his relationship with Rhys. And then it was so obvious when I started part 2, it killed the twist 😭
I TOTALLY feel you on your aversion to Kate. There is NO chemistry between Joe and Kate. With his other obsessions, Beck, Love and Marienne , i could see the attraction both ways. Kate felt boring and dry.. Even with her backstory mirroring and "fitting in" with joes , it was still not compelling. Or sexy. Penn is sexy of course, but not that actress (with Penn)
I love your reactions, especially your glee reactions, but I highly recommend Struck by Lightning. The movie was written by Chris Colfer, the actor of Kurt Hummel in Glee, and he acts in it as well! It is a harilarous movie, and I hope you will put it in consideration on reacting to it!
In the first few eps of the season part 1 I actually started suspecting that maybe joe was imagining those text messages from a random stalker of his, knowing everything about him, but then the messages disappearing, because it was too far out there and I even thought he might be imagining rhys entirely, because his convos with him seemed so cut off from wveryone else. But then the scene with the fire and rhys running for mayor threw me off and I thought "okay, no this guy def exists!" Didn't see this teist coming xD
very good episode, i wasn't a big fan of season 4 when I watched part one, but with part two and seeing how part one built up to it, i really do like this season
