It's all Tommy you hear in the video. He is good at harmonizing ans layering his voice if needed. You should listen to his last weeks cover of John Denvers Country Roads. Metal banjo. For me Tommy is equal to Geoff Castellucci in making his musical arrangements and using his voice. Those 2 are artists I love both and I would love to see doing a collaboration.
Phenomenal talent. The voice is a God given gift, but it takes hours, months years to learn how to use it in such a way. Much like all the instruments he plays at an impressive skill level. "Future world" (Helloween cover) with Tommy Johansson and Petter Hjerpe (band mate from Majestica) is a VERY GOOD suggestion! Both of these guys are excellent singers! And this particular cover is one of my favourites!!
I also said I was not a fan of Metal until I listened to Sabaton (Tommy was their guitarist until earlier this year) I suggest giving them a listen starting with the song Bismark
This is why I love covers to enable an artist to break out of his genre and test out other styles , pitches and ideas just for the fun of it .. and give new music to music lovers all over the world in the process.

Tommy made me like power metal and it started with him singing the Swedish version of Holy night (O helga natt) and from there to the Christmas Carol album and then hooked.
Much metal is painful for me to hear, and hence, I normally ignore the genre. Thanks to reactors like you, I have been able to find metal singers who can produce music that is not painful. Tommy Johansson is phenomenal in this cover. Thanks, Cole. Wonderful reaction.
If you hear singing or music played on Tommy's videos - it's all him - unless otherwise stated. My favourite Tommy video is of him doing Bohemian Rhapsody. Blew me away! If you're curious about his band, Sabaton. You should check out the power ballad En Livstid i Krig ( The Great Tour, Gothenburg), make sure you get the English subtitles. This song is both powerful and moving.

You actually might like Tommy’s album “ a Christmas carol” with his band Majestica .. however it is very much power metal as well as a musical theater piece waiting to happen .. so you might also REALLY have a problem with it .. hopefully not hating it ( Christmas, very much connected to traditional Christmas songs, musical, really good musicians .. yet metal) .. but it might fall on the “ too much metal “ side . It will enrich your life nevertheless 😉
