At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her.
