I have a 28mm casio watch with sapphire crystal and a 10-year battery (model: LTS-100GL-7AVEF) in my collection that I got off Amazon for £65 in 2021. A lovely little watch that mostly goes unnoticed. I definitely agree that the band is crappy. I switched the stiff band for a more supple croc-effect leather band. I also got a gold mesh strap to change things up a bit in the summer. The seconds hand hits the time indices with okay-ish precision but is much better than some other more expensive brands. Casio watches are not 'designer', but they are such bargains!
Hi Lotte, these watches are bargains for sure, there is no other brands that propose "reliability" and decent finishes with such discounts knowing that the brand offers watches that goes from 10 to more than 20 000 dollars. Casio is an institution in the world of watches, but yeah you right, in the entry level casio's the only thing you need to change is the strap :).
