I think we would like to get more software specific training. For example our office has softdent not dentrix and it would be nice to learn how to use the software properly for Vance sheets, billing and claims.
Also i haven’t watched all of the videos yet so I’m not sure if this has been covered, but as a practice owner, I have a difficult time, knowing how to oversee our billing and claims. I always seem to find out the fact that we have to write off claims because they weren’t submitted properly or forgotten. how do I balance working in the operatory while also making sure that my staff is held accountable and being able to check to make sure things are being done?
That is tough - my suggestion is that you have a reporting system in place so you can quickly review the day and also make sure to get your team members the correct training. If you want them to do better, you need to invest in them. I am also a big fan of outsourcing this to a company that does this for a living. They are motivated to do it correctly, as that is how they get paid and will report to you at the end of each day of all the activity. Hope this helps
@@LauraHatchFrontOfficeRocks thank you! We do use Eassist but still missing claims, esp secondary claims. I agree we need to invest in them, which is why we started with Front Office Rocks!
