Well-explained. Thank you. I have allodynia w chronic migraine. Was up to 20 days of headache a month. I started seeing great functional neurologist and did not have a single migraine attack for 6 weeks. No meds. Then had weird accident and got knocked over by a dog Thursday and hit head…got migraine attack that same day. Allodynia showed up the following day. I’m lying in bed feeling like I’m on fire right now.

Randomly had this happen to me today, no headaches or anything touched the side of my head and felt a sharp pain, was wearing headphones for several hours before guessing it’s that.

I normally get it on my legs or arms. So annoying :( wish there was a way to help it go away faster

My eightteen yr old daughter is an aspie with ehler's danlos and POTS. She has had allodynia for years. Can barely stand having hair brushed let alone washed. Puts it off for weeks. Other areas burn/hurt, but scalp is like being bitten by fire ants she says. She just recently had her first migraine though. Growing up she couldn't comprehend what people meant by a headache because she'd never had one. So in her cause allodynia preceded any known migraine. She does not take meds except children's motrin a few times a year.

This scares me that my migraines are getting worse. Yesterday was the worse migraine I’ve had in awhile. They upgraded to vestibular migraines 3 years ago with dizziness, blurry vision for days and ringing ears and now to allodynia.

I get allodynia, but not on my scalp ever. Mostly my upper arms and legs. I mostly feel like my skin is bruised or like my veins are sore? I also am super sensitive to light touch on my upper arms and thighs. It feels like they are painfully ticklish. Like beyond just a tickle. It starts feeling like a scratch.

I’m so glad I found this video! Im suffering from a lower back injury that happen when I was at the gym. I’m not sure what happened maybe a pinched nerve, or a pulled muscle or a slipped disk. I’ve been in pain for about a week. This morning I started to develop a migraine from the constants shocks and nerve pain shooting up my back. Now when I touch my head I feel sharp pain all over it. It feel like I’m touching my brain without any protection and my skull feels very tender. I hope this goes away soon.

I think this is what I have! I get this a couple times a year now. My skin hurts. It's different from a sunburn but that's probably the easiest way to describe it. I feel it is deeper. But not muscular deep.

I had migraines before I turned out to be sick and the dr. gave me a lot of pills to take per day and now body pain is annoying me

I used to have migraines and allodynia. However, now I just have rsndom episodes of allodynia, and they are much more severe. Never in the same spot as before. Can you link allodynia to anything else aside from the migraines?

I heard bad news was the trigger I got a hard migraine the Alyodina came with the migraine it was very painfull. Was on top of my scalp the migraine is gone but the Allodynia is still here

yep i have clusterheadhage 30 years en now i now i have allodynia 5 years dit get migraine en allodynia the last years personely i think from medicatie en now sleep

I had Migraine it came on ASAP the burning wont stop

How about alodynia that affects you 24/7, for 12 years to the point that It burns when you breathe, your eyes burn and itch, your ears burn and itch, as well as ring so very loud, your head, neck, arms shoulders, chest all feel like they have somehow been burned. Irritating. Then there are the ongoing pain in the hips, the irritated skin all around you genitals. The pain in the leg muscles and ankles and so much on the bottom of the feet. I really do need to die.
