I feel kinda bad for the game developer. They gave early access to some RU-vidrs, asked them to not look for secrets and all the endings until the official release, but ended up giving up on that idea because of some people went went out of their way for secrets and spoiled the endings to make a clickbait title and thumbnail.

Yea, me too. The RU-vidrs who did that really screwed them over. Hopefully, they'll learn who they can trust and who they can't or maybe nobody will get early access next time. If so, they have no right to complain about it because they straight up betrayed the developers for views and money. A**holes.

Seems like the hidden tape is supposed to be the ending tape from the demo but I think the files of the video had been removed so it just goes to the first episode (just a guess). I also think the man at the end is supposed to be Sam.

I have a strong suspicion that that guy at the end is Sam - and I also wonder if that safe leads to acquiring the blue tape somehow legitimately. It'll be interesting as more people play and try different things to see how the story unfolds. Thanks for the video!

I hope so. Some people are theorizing that Sam is trapped in the video game with Amanda, but I much prefer the idea that he's out there somewhere trying to save his daughter

@@popshoppacks wait a second...that gave me a thought that could possibly be TOTALLY unrealistic, but what if wooly is sam? Bc in the end credits of some of the shows, it never shows who voiced wooly, or if there was even a person behind him, and I genuinly do wonder who wooly is. I also think that once in a while, wooly genuinely cares about Amanda/Rebecca and tries to sorta be like a guardian to her? And now that I think about it more I do have other theories to that, but I think their useless anyways bc this theory is probably false ;)

The tape in the safe is a placeholder they use this in the demo so any tapes that are different but not in the game yet is set to be the "in the kitchen" tape

one thing I would like researched is how and when things get swapped out or moved or vanish in the house. Like the safe being swapped for a cardboard version, or the oven/birthday cake appearing on the table. or the doll vanishing. I think watching those things happen would make a fun video and could be a different kind of "What the game hides off camera" video. After all, the swaps/moved things/vanishing things only happen when they're off camera.

They happen at specific times that you can connect to an event in the game, though. So you know why they're connected when you play it. They also are puzzles. So basically, all you would see by doing that is the item spawning in..it wouldn't give you any additional information.

I am familiar with the engine, I might able to answer this, in game engine maker could make invisible 'triggers' to make object swapped or on/off. It could range from when a player approached something it activate, something, or more creative way such as using this trigger with a 'raycast' system that could trigger by just looking at a direction, usually it used when the game wants you to look the other way THEN activate the object like the tape on the doll on this game. But this is an interesting video to cover too.

Seeing where things slide in or out of frame or instead pop in and pop out is part of the fun!

I have a theory that the mystery man is Amanda's father Sam. Not only does the sprite have the same skin tone, but it also makes sense that Sam went missing, and he might want to keep his identity safe from Hamlin, because it's kind of corrupt. It could be the reason he wears the mask, or it could be something else. I just thought it'd be a good theory to share.

Funny thing, that white rectangle box is for the Meat Shop ending, it gets put in place of the trap door by the end of it and has static covering it so its like your going inside the TV itself

the cube in the void that looks like a room is actually what developers use to create the actually room kind of like a reference, but I'm not sure if this was the real intent. but i do do that in my projects

Hm wait maybe the masked man is Rebecca's dad because the skin colors of he dad and the masked man are close. And what if he had come to protect his daughter because she just got hit with a brick. The contract she had signed might have also made them allowed to experiment on Rebecca (Amanda's voice actor) and they turned her into that monster...?

The random white box geometry and furniture could be the original made assets, and placed nearby gor the game devs to be able to copy and paste the assets when making the levels geometry over constantly making new assets from scratch for each wall, chair, boxes etc. By hand and all they would have to do is change a small part of each asset instead for work effeciency etc.
