Hallmark Precious Metals, most of their stuff you’ll see is 1970’s. They have some monstrous bars. I remember seeing a 500oz bar at an estate sale one time by HPM.

It’s about 50-50. We buy them across the counter from the public on average a few times a week and sell them across the counter on average a few times a week.

Love the Mercs, even though you get less silver compared to the Rosies due to the Mercs being a LOT older. Either one is a "must have" to own though. Along with the quarters, and halves....

If platinum went up say 50%+ within 6-12 months, would u see a big difference of people coming in look for it and therefore buy more? I always felt like any dealer would but they all say they're not interested because it doesn't sell 🤷

The American economy is doomed by unsustainable debt, de-dollarization, and looming hyperinflation, but those holding lots of ounces of silver and at least 2-10 ounces of gold will be more than fine as their real, hard assets will retain value, protect against economic collapse, and position them for prosperity when the fiat system fails.

I agree that this would be a good start on a prime stack. Other than me, no one in my family actually stacks, although my son does have some silver in his safe. Because of this, I have been a stacking beaver, always adding to the stack so that when the crud really does HTF, I will be able to gift them enough wealth to do well under dire circumstances.

I never got into that which metal is better thing. I believe that there's room in the financial tool box for more than one tool, so have stacked both metals, silver since early in 2010 and gold since late in 2013.

30 day chart - that's the key variable in that equation. Gold in the long run perfomorms MUCH better. I look at the long term trends, not the short term trends.

Lol. These videos are filmed when the shop is closed. There is barely a moment in my shop where there aren’t customers. We have steady traffic all day every day. It’s great!

Love the look of those Morgan silver rounds. I collect Morgan dollars, have a cloth bag of them, and all are in AU or better condition. Someone sold 3500 ozs. of silver in one day?! Wow. Don't think I could part with just over half of my stack but someone sure did. One day, I will trade most of my silver for gold but the numbers would have to be right on that, not this 83:1 GSR baloney for sure.

hi. im in CA now. ya might wanna check your shipping and tax liabilities policy. I think sometime last year CA raised the min purchase to avoid taxes is $2000 now, vs $1500. just thought id mention that so your shop doesn't get into a hot mess... haha. as a recreational stacker I'm feeling the pain of the high barrier to enter a purchase here just to avoid what shouldn't be a law to begin with, in my opinion... have a great day!

I really enjoyed seeing the bin with cull type coins. I wonder if it would be a good idea to add some nicer condition graded type coins in the show cases rather than taking up a lot of space with graded eagles? Graded eagles should all be a 69 or 70, put them in a bin. I'm a stacker and a numismatic collector, primarily US type coins. Lots of XF, AU, and mint state type coins are affordable. Might be something to consider for your shop. Get someone like me in the shop who stacks and collects, they buy some bullion and see a twenty cent piece in the show case, and you make another sale as well as a happy customer.

It’s happened before. I put a Norse silver commemorative in the bargain bin accidentally. Fortunately, we found it a week or so later and was able to pull it and properly price it. Ended up selling for nearly $200!

They typically aren’t, but we had such a surplus that we ran a flash sale a couple of months ago that if you bought five you would get a sixth free. Literally sold out in the first 30 minutes.
