For example does this component get wired in line with positive to the left leg or does one leg dip into that positive and the other one go to negative it would still store and release energy either way but it's much more likely to blow up one way you might wanna save your users a big headache and a sore red spot on their cheek by explaining that aspect. You have to assume that people watching this have never done anything with electronics before because most likely they haven't
