Thank you for this honest assessment of the job role. I was a L&D nurse for 15 (+) years, and now have been working as a women's health nurse practitioner in a large private practice. I absolutely have loved my practice and enjoyed years of direct patient care. I am "almost" an "empty nester" and looking at options for the future. I am embarrassed to admit, even as a provider I did not know this role existed. One of my patients recently was an MSL and I had to ask her to explain this job role to me. There are always downsides and challenges to every career. Also, these things are so important to know before accepting a position to make sure it is a fit for you. I appreciate your willingness to speak frankly about these things
Listened to this episode on Apple Podcasts, but decided needed to watch this one. I'd be good at the notes and paperwork, now the travel and proactively putting oneself out there... maybe, lots of gold nuggets in this episode!
Great one! Very honest and accurate information. Big respect for the honesty. That is very rare and is saying it all regarding the integraty of both of you guys. Adult intelligent people can very well integrate downsides and put them into perspective with the upsides.
