Just realise that we really are triggered over a small things. We always tend to fight back on social media and always tend to jump conclusion without looking at people's perspective or thinking it. And ends up being a keyboard warrior but a coward in reality. They have to realise what would happen if they say something or their actions on social media.

Honestly expected more from you guys. The word 'triggered' might be a word gaining popularity in mainstream culture- but it shouldn't. Maybe you can argue "Everyone else is using it why can't we" maybe with such a wide audience you should be the once setting the example. Being triggered is a real symptom of PTSD, anything that evokes the memory of a traumatic experience or event. To use it as a casual joke is dismissive, rude and undermines the true meaning of the word. Rooke J Evans Son, this isn't about to English language. To be the Grammar Police (yes the term is Grammar Police, thanks) would be to tell you how your use of their/they're is incorrect. This is a social issue with the dilution of the meaning & use of the word.
well a lot of words are evolving kinda like how asexual originally meant to reproduce without a sexual organs like plants but now it's also used for people who doesn't have sexual needs
The word "triggered" was brought into the mainstream precisely with jokes that trivialise and caricaturise the trauma survivor community (mostly by conflating them with "SJWs", which is another caricaturisation). There is no honor in how this word was popularised. Let's not encourage this trend.

No. No no no. No. You don't use the word "triggered for simple upsetting scenarios/issues. It coins the term for a traumatic experience in the past, where if the trigger ; a rememberence of the event to trigger the fear/other negative emotions, which makes the individual unable to function, currently. People like you, and the myriads of singaporean citizens who undermine the value of such a term, knowingly, and unknowingly are directly contributive to the brushing off, and the undermining of Mental illnesses. Just stop.
Wow what one of the girls said was " oh malay ah dont study ah!" i believe in my opinion it is labelling the malay community as lazy and all. And as a malay, i feel deeply offended
I think she was referring to how there is a stereotype that Malays don’t study and how she has been at the brunt of it because she’s Malay. So, her point is that we shouldn’t generalise people.
