Yeah, they r showing radiants smurfing in plat, but plats already have decent aim...so, the main difference between plat and radiant is ofcourse positioning and timing...

Exactly and on top of that they treat’s us like trash and asks us to just quit playing the game

yeah i mean like for example im in plat/diamond elo and i find that because the smurfs always just make dumb plays, i can just out aim them and punish them, but thats only because i have put in the time to aim train and stuff whereas in bronze-gold people havent put as much time into improving their aim so when it comes to smurfs the only thing they can do is try to work as a team to kill them

wellll depends on the elo IMO. Obviously with radiants smurfing plat aim wont matter as much, but when gold;plat players smurf iron and bronze ranks the aim makes or breaks the game. I wish he touched on this in the video rather than comparing just radiant and plat....

Honestly from bronze to gold the main difference is not game sense and game awareness. All the players are pretty much the same in that regard, though of course slightly better. The big difference is that the golds not only have good aim, but also decently consistent as well.

What usually works for me is hiding with a bucky where the Jett will most likely push and get her while mid air

This is so true, honestly when there is a Smurf on my team it just makes the game boring and just removes al the fun

This game is 80% about good fps/hz and ping. I was immo 6k playing at a caffee and now I get killed by gold players. Reason is because I cant simply peek like an idiot and kill everyone and that was my whole playstyle

No it's not. Stop blaming your lack of skill on smurfs. You're given the opportunity to train against someone better than you. Adapt.

Ping doesn't matter imo. Watched my friend with like 100 ping perform better than the entire team and he was new to the game and never touched csgo. I've been trying to figure out how he top frags hella

Fr, i have a shit PC, my ping is good and i have 144hz Monitor its ok, better than 60hz. But mostly Immortal and Radiant Players have i think 240hz Monitor maybe couple have 144hz like me. And im Diamond 2 and if Radiant Player play in my elo i can't win, because of not fairness. And i really think i have with my low ping more chances to get headshots from enemies than a dude with above 50 Ping or something. Idk it's really hard to explain that, but yeah..

if you cant beat people who are better than you then u truthfully don't deserve to rank up

The smurfing issue is a problem in all regions I think. They need to make the minimum level to enter ranked like level 30 to 50, so people can't just rush into comp at like level 5 or some shit

Then push with them.. nothing more annoying than a sage that does basically nothing on attack but yeah I know how u feel (silver here)

Sage’s ulti in low elo is often like choosing a rock and a hard place because there is a high chance whoever you res just gonna throw his life away in 5 sec

There is a dissonance of using “smurfs” and “unrated” in the same context. It simply doesn’t work.

@@SahiPie Sure it does, any high ranked player using an alt account much lower level then their actual level is a smurf. Doesn't make a difference if it's in unrated or ranked.

@@thedudewhocriedhitmarker5404 It's different Are u that dense? all ranks can play with each other in unraked,it's random without skill gap But in ranked=you can only meet people in the same skill rank So how the fuck u can say smurf exist in unraked? Smurf means=playing with someone under your skill level intetionally Smurf doesnt mean using low level account,it means use low level acc intentionally to dominate/beat lower skill player It can happen in ranked,but not in unraked because of skill filter

@@dereknichols4376 nope there is a hidden mmr in unranked as well lol. You will be matched against opponents with mmr same as yours.

So true that happened last night for us I just started the game and I’m in bronze a Reyna on the other team was such a Smurf he dropped 44 kills by the end of the game but lost bc we started playing smart and trading…we come from competitive cod so teamwork isn’t a problem my problem is literally my aim m&k is so foreign to me

i met 3 immortal smurfs in sil 2 all go ace one by one

I met radiant smurf once in diamond lobby kinda sad tho. He has around closely 40 kills while we having 15+ kills and our immortal has only 20 kills

no game can ever have a "true" ranked system because it won't be fun, for example, players shouldn't be able to queue with friends in a ranked game ever, yes not even 5 stack vs 5 stack, imo team games won't ever have a number that accurately represents a player's skill, there's just too much variable. but yes, i agree that smurfs take the fun of playing, especially when im just playing solo wanting to chill.

The only way I've been able to counter smurfs is playing weirdly and solely trying to rely on aim

Most of the time, high elo players won't 'immediately' rotate just because a sova, kayo knife etc didn't tag anyone. The basis of holding sites is you never hard rotate until the enemy is using hard util or bomb is down in a position where they can't just pick it up and rotate back. Another added benefit of skye going back to make sure sova didn't arrow is if he recons it and gets no pings, that gives them a safe flank to wrap around without being spotted.

No one understands your high elo strats. I have just been playing like the gil role honestly. You have a split mid. (Everyone going mid and then some go a and some go b.) You have 5 man rush. Odin judge spam even on attack. Smurfs, unranked teammates. Your teammates not rotating even when you shout to rotate like 10 times thus throwing the round. Everyone getting pinged by recons or knifes and just still trying to play slow, or the opposite everyone running at the start of the game as if they have to attack faster than they can react. You have jetts, phoenix and reyna running in site without waiting for any intel. (drone, dog, jiggle peeking) Team flashes. Random smoke kills or even smoke op kills. People just randomly chilling in smokes or running in smokes when it has been there for a while and all 5 players could be there with a judge. People pushing through smokes. Tilted team and low morale. I really made this reply a huge complain about low elo. Sry man. been having bad games man. All good.

@@cooldudelel7189 I can understand your frustration, I went through it quite a lot back when I played cs. It sounds to me that you have a decent amount of game sense (especially for your rank) to the point where if I were you and wanted to rank up, I'd start being more greedy. You can do this 2 ways though one way does rely on you making the calls for your team and them listening which is pretty unlikely for low elo. The other option is to play more for yourself. If you're having a really good game but the rest of your team continues to die leaving them with no economy, don't buy for them unless you're close to being capped on cash. This leaves you with a much higher chance of popping off harder on another round where the other team might not have enough money for a full buy and were left to choose between something like full armour or that extra smoke/flash to delay or execute a push. This is actually used a lot in higher elos but instead of the person with the cash not buying for someone having a bad game, the person having a bad game understands they're playing bad and decide to sacrifice say a vandal and full armour for full utility and a gun like a spectre or marshall. The biggest tip that I can give, that a lot of people skip over for low elo, is to stop focussing on the team aspects of the game and focus more on developing your own skill. You'll eventually get to a point where you just single handedly destroy in your low elo games and rank up in no time.

@@EmceeReign I think in a game of valorant, it’s much harder to just be greedy as in higher elo, if someone is having a bad game, they at least contribute by killing some people every few rounds or helping the team with utility. In low elo tho, i think no one use utility enough. I’m trying to use my utility as much, but when i see high elo vs my elo games, i see a lot of utility eg. slow orbs, raze made, reyna flashes. Another thing is that people don’t play the role they should play. Duelist tend to like just randomly jumping in, you see omen or sage entry fragging, they don’t wait for sova drone or skye dog. Teams are less coordinated due to no comms. You can’t have combos like sage slows and raze nade or astra suck and killjoy molly. You see cypher placing trips to low or never even using their cages or cams ever. I tried cd yesterday (valorant is my first fps) playing idk what kind of game mode (it’s like normal game but more players.) I feel pretty ok in the game even tho i’m new. I get a few kills at least and i’m not doing the worst among all, in one game i did the best but that’s when the other team is trolling. Also may i know what rank you are?

@@cooldudelel7189 The only other option you can really go for is to find like-minded individuals who you can group up with so you at least have comms and can be on the same page when organising strats. In cs I peaked LEM (2 away from the highest) but stopped playing mm when they screwed up the way the mmr system worked, so I moved over to faceit (3rd party competitive site) and was able to hold level 9 (highest is 10) For Valorant, I haven't played ranked that much these last few seasons. I've peaked diamond playing solo and can hold myself well in immortal lobbies when I play with others.

This happens in diamond too. I had a game vs a jett who was either a super good radiant or a cheater that dropped 46 kills. However, he still lost the game. In diamond, people comm and we came up with a strat to legit just avoid or single out the jett as much as we could. If he was a, we'd pressure b and kill his team so we can take a 2v1 or 3v1 against him. Or, we'd use our utility to just shut this guy down with blinds, sky dog, and smoke. What I'd say is, this shit happens in every elo, lower elo players just take the easy approach of just saying their aim sucks. But, whether it's a platinum player smoking some silvers, or a radiant player smoking some diamonds, the situation is the same. Work as a team and shut that smurf down

@@RenonTTV honestly easier said than done in lower elos. I’ve had countless games against smurfs, and sometimes my team has coms other times no. When we do, and they’re just wailing on us round after round nobody talks anymore bc everyone gets so defeated and discouraged. There was only maybe…one time where we were getting beat, but we managed to come back and it seemed to wake everyone up. But it’s SUPER rare. So trust me when I say I understand where you’re coming from.

Ya, but what makes their skill level better than yours. The whole point is to show you why smurfs frag out in your elo vs what you can do
