Tourism is amongst, if not the most popular industry in the world. The less sustainably we travel, the more we allow for destructive habits that negatively impact the environment.
Ecotourism is low impact tourism in which people makes planned effort to understand the environment, protect the natural resources, and invest sufficient revenues for protecting the natural habitat. Ecotourism also helps to protect animals and plants from the ill effects of conventional tourism

I cannot agree more! I have been very lucky to live in Kenya for 6 months and I wish we could raise the awareness of the importance of recycling and stop littering on the street, at least in the coast, where this is a major issue... However I must say I am very impressed with the law regarding plastic bags, we should all apply this around the world!
