I use pre shave oil every morning it’s made a huge difference I don’t get irritated skin and other problems at all by using pre shave oil

Hey guys I just started using pre shave oil the pad two days it really helped my skin especially my neck. I just need two passes and I’m awesome. I can go 3 but I’m still happy with it.

Great shave with the Twig razor! Twig is one of my favorites. Have not tried the Leaf Pre-Shave oil specifically but have tried other pre-shave oils and they just didn't work for me. Finally found the PAA The Cube with lots of water and it is the bomb for me.

Hello guy, good morning what are use is a Dorko twin blade disposable razor right now due to I injured my shoulder this year. It shaves really really good and it’s easy to use everything with my shoulder damaged until it heals. I’m gonna continue to use them. They’re inexpensive and they’re on Amazon, and they really close and comfortable and shave and unscented, shave cream or shave gel whichever you wanna call it by edge but eventually, I’ll go back to safety razors once I get my shoulder back. I already have the thorn but just got a twig. A lovely mild shave but it takes a little more time to get it all. No irritation and a quick skin recovery after the shave. My new favourite mild razor. Your reviews have been a great help because I to have sensitive skin and also suffer on the neck after shaving. 👍

Nice shave!!. The Twig is one of the easiest and most controllable SE out there. It gives a great shave. I'm still on the fence on pre-shave oils. I've had an experience with it leaving a stick residue on my face. But i haven't given up. I also clear my razorst after each use. Keeps things nice and neat. have a great day and smooth shaves .

Hi. Nice shave. My 2 scents. Pre shave oil. Conditions / hydrates my skin very well. Good glide. But. It sometimes gunks up my razor. I like using it. Especially in the winter. Have a good rest of your weekend

I've used the leaf pre shave oil for my past few shaves and it has made a noticeable difference. Less irritation and no nicks. Don't think my skin feels more moisturized after the shave, but it certainly seems to help the blade glide more smoothly over my face and neck. I'm using a crappy Weishi butterfly razor which doesn't give good shaves without some careful effort and concentration. Will be replacing it soon, but for now the oil has improved the way the razor shaves.

Your technique has to be perfect to get a great shape with that razor. It's a knock off of a knock off of a knock off. I can't wait to you upgrade. Now that your technique is perfect what razors are you looking at? Very curious.

@@OhioShaves Trying the Leaf Twig, Henson Al13 and the Rockwell 6c. Leaf will arrive in the next week. Other two will be after Xmas. Will probably keep the Rockwell and one of the two others. You've done a great job of promoting those brands :-)

Awesome video, thanks! The Leaf oil looks like a great product, beautiful bottle as well! I use only synthetic brushes.... have 2 great ones actually which are very sufficient. Got my eyes on the Simpson T3, if there is also a suitable holder for holding that brush with the knot pointing down. Will see later...🙂

Great shave. Leaf oil works well before and after the shave. I do the same and brush my razors after every shave, I forgot once and noticed the white residue left.

I have some beard oils at home that I like to use when I trim my beard with my new BabylissPRO SKELETON FX trimmer. Besides a shaved look, I also like the so-called Miami Vice 5 o'clock Shadow. This Babyliss trimmer is the perfect tool for this. I think all beard oils can also be used as preshave oils. Currently in the house: King C. Gillette whose scent I love. Proraso Azur & Lime: also a wonderful but rather summery scent. Today I used the Tabac shaving oil: it has the old school Tabac scent. I also have the shaving soap at home and it is fantastic. But my favorite right now is Dick Johnson's Snake Oil with Whiskey & Vanilla Scent. Also ordered the shaving soap from last week but have not used it yet. These products come from Finland.

Excellent shave, I clean my razors like you as well, but I use a drop of dawn dish liquid and scrub it. Then I use compressed air to dry it, maybe it’s overkill but I take care of my vintage Gillettes. I use proraso pre-shave cream and prefer it over oil. We’re you able to fix the pearl flexi?

Are you worried at all that the oil will build up in the shave brush? Basically cleaning the oil residue off was a concern to me. I actually went to the PAA cube 2.0 just cause I thought it would clean up better off of shave gear. I can see with the ultra sonic cleaners we have now that we can clean the razors real easy but the brush is still a concern. I really like the Simpsons T3 and want it to last. I wouldn't mind giving Leaf pre-shave oil a try as long as it wouldn't damage my brush. What are your views on this?

I haven't noticed any difference in my brush performance after using pre-shave oil several times. It's not like other oils that we use and day-to-day.

Ordered myself TOBS cologne. Really intrigued how it will suit me. Usually I don't like to wear strong fragrances on me, but who knows, maybe I will like that anyway suddenly. Did you try TOBS after shave gel? It's amazing substitute for Nivea sensitive skin balsam, whenever you like to have something more premium on your face to calm that all down well.

Great shave! Maybe once my PAA cube is done I’ll look into an oil. I had a question about alum. Started using it for post shave and noticed that my block has developed some roughness. I’m assuming because I haven’t been drying it properly, just plop it in my PAA dry dock. Is there a way to make it smooth again?
