We visited Pancake Creek 23 years ago. It was one of our favourite anchorages. We walked up to the lighthouse where some men were working on the light. They flew in each day in a helicopter and they were kind enough to let us climb the light. There was an army duck that brought tourists from 1770 to see the light. I wonder if it is still running? The following day we sailed to Bundy and I remember worrying about about 3 rocks that were off Bustard Head. We did not have a chart plotter. Thanks for a fantastic blog Peter “Bianca”
Hi Peter, thanks for the comment! I can confirm that the pink aquaduck vehicles still run from 1770 up the beach to the lighthouse, daily tours. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and you did well to avoid those reefs out the front! Take care J
