I picked up the Catrice color corrector trio at Ulta last time I was there and I am in love with them! The peach is so good- but I love all three colors equally (green and light yellow too) totally affordable- keep an eye out for them when you're there. They are worth trying

When I evacuated Rockport before Harvey hit, I took my makeup with me, I'd cry if I lost it. It's mostly drugstore but I've worked hard for it. I feel so bad for anyone who lost their makeup collection. I feel like Mascara, brows, lipstick and blush are a quick way to make a fresh face
I don't. We just started talking about how it was hard to find a foundation without a tester. Then she told me her makeup was all wet and dirty so she was out getting some. I don't think she needed financial help just overwhelmed with starting over. But it is something to think about donating . Thank you though for the thought. How generous of you.

I have incredibly sensitive dry skin. I paired this peach matte foundation with the too faced hangover primer (which is a miracle worker for dry skin) and the combination is amazing! Matte all day long, great coverage, doesn't cling to my dry patches! I think the primer really helps though! I'm scared to try their matte primer with the foundation lol thanks for the fun review... it really helps me narrow down what I'll purchase next from the collection 😂
Kayla Newkirk i wouldn't recommend using the primer if you have dry skin. I have combo/dry, and i only use it where i get oily. If i put it on my dry areas, i can feel how drying the primer is. It's super-uncomfortable.
Im watching this because Sephora is selling these products for 40% off *) I used to use the foundation and cant remember why it didnt make the cut...For 30 bucks I got the foundation, loose powder ( still have and use it all the time ) and the pot concealer *) Such a steal deal...I commented because I snagged that hidden gem being the Hangover primer at T.J Maxx and the JUMBO size for 20$...Im in love with that primer even over top shelf primers, it amazing !! When i tried the foundation before I didnt have this primer, even more excited to try the foundation again with the Hangover primer TY !!
If you really like the berry type shades, this is a pretty palette. If you like the cooler berry shades, the Chloe Morello/Ciaté London eyeshadow palette is a stunning palette too! Glad to own both because the formulas of both are impeccable quality & cost around $45.
I feel like this line was made for me and my oily skin!! I took the plunge and bought a lot from the collection (it was a pricey purchase!!!) to review on my own channel but I have to say I'm so glad it got good reviews from you since I haven't received it yet!!!
DrDaniFisher I have very oily skin and also bought just about everything. So far I do like the foundation, primer and the eyeshadow palette the most. Unfortunately I have to darken the deepest shade with correction drops but I'm enjoying everything thus far
shiigyrl Brown hey! I use nyx foundation mixer in dark. It doesn't change the formula of the foundation and you don't need to use a lot. Thanks for your support- I've been so busy w work which don't get me wrong I'm thankful for a job but just trying to find balance so YT vids have been on the back burner but I hope to bring out a few this month lol. We'll see 😊

Agreed! I started watching Emily because of her maturity. I'm really sick of these pop star wanna be divas. I like that Emily doesn't shove reality tv gossip in her videos and other stuff that appeals to people who are barely old enough to buy beer. They were making me feel old as fuck and I'm only 31!
I think the peach packaging is adorable, but I wish they wouldn't have added that scent. The peach and chocolate scent makes me sick to my stomach and I don't want all that fragrance on my skin all day. Thanks for the review Emily!
Based on your review, I went out and immediately purchased the primer, foundation, loose setting powder and the eyeshadow pallet. Tried it for the first time last night and it is just as awesome as you said! I am 53 with decent skin but have larger pores and some discoloration. It covered well and the tones cancelled so much of the discoloration that I didn't need more foundation or concealer. I put it on with my skin with my hands for my first time and it worked wonderfully. This also cut the time needed to complete my makeup. This is my new go to! Thank you so much for this review! I've been pretty underwhelmed by Too Faced recently. I feel like they pay so much attention to the design (which I don't always love, but that's a personal thing obviously) and the big collections with themes that they kind of slack on creative and high quality products. Any one else feeling the same way?
Meg Alyssa I agree. I know anyone can buy whatever they want, but as a woman who is not 20 or 30, this particular collection doesn't feel like it was designed with women like me in mind. 🤷🏽♀️
Agreed. There holiday palettes are totally garbage. And for this, I feel like its trying to hard. I LOVE the eyeshadow palette but only because its all matte, and beautifully thought out color wise. I can do without the peach scent or peach name. It just looks like a good solid palette. I'd prefer a matte packaging, and a lower price ... but thats just me!

Your skin literally looks flawless. I'm into the soft focus look and I'm so glad a brand brought out something for oily skin girls with texture. I love the creams and how subtle they appear on the skin, even the highlight looks lit from within. Ugh and the palette has such lovely colours for fellow brown eyed girls. Bright but wearable. Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for doing a true, honest, realistic review of this new collection. I LOVE the peach eyeshadow pallete and the blush/bronzer/highlight trio and was STOKED to see this fuller line coming out. The packaging gets us and too faced knows it! They rock the packaging/marketing dept so hard. I love that you really like the foundation. I never stray with my foundations. I have 3 i bounce between; elf, make up forever and it cosmetics bb cream and none are matte. This review and video just sold me on buying this foundation/facepowder in matte! Thanks emily. Janelle Casas The primer is pretty good..if you don't have dry skin. At least, the 2 together was too drying for me, but on its own, it's def good. Prob more suitable for normal to oily skin if you use the primer and foundation together. :)

I get the weirdest vibes from Too Faced, like I can enjoy cute packaging but with this brand I feel like they try so hard to make things look cute that it makes me think the products can't be that good ^^ I love my chocolate bar palette but I feel like they focus a lot more on their image (with all the packaging and the collabs) than the quality of their products. However I trust your opinion and if you say something works well then I believe it haha and the eyeshadow palette does look beautiful

Iren Kolar yeah some of their stuff remind me of play makeup (just the look of it) haha. I mean I got sick of pink and girly stuff super fast so maybe it still appeals to some women, but it's definitely more targeted at a younger crowd. Not to say the products can't be good, it's just not my style. However they're kind of unique, most brands these days do tend towards a more sophisticated and sober packaging. They stand out so I guess it works. I just feel like they shouldn't be a high-end brand. Most of the time the quality is there, but when it's not you basically pay 20 to 50$ only for the packaging

Am just getting back into it, splurging on a piece of makeup I can afford at the drugstore once a month or every other month as I'm in a women's & children's shelter because of my abusive exbf who didn't allow me to wear makeup for a few years. So I have a few panic attacks when looking in the makeup department, anxious about my even being there. Things like smelling good makes me feel like I can do it! When I saw this pallet I knew I would want it, but omg! You just sold it to me like holy moly lol. That eye look girl! You can make so many different looks, light and dark. Then that foundation and something about the look of the highlight... you just look soooo fresh and youthful with all of this on! Beautiful 😀. Too faced just hit it out of the park with this line 👏🤗. haven't done more than just a few swatches of that collection yet, but it'll be one of my next projects for sure! I will say- it also smells good and has that Too Faced cuteness factor :)
You are so right about the specks of powder from the mist- it reminds me of powdered sugar, that when you touch it, it dissolves. I love the spray though, and the specks dissolve away very easily. Love this review!
