I love many pallets. I think Too Faced is the company that rules them all. I loved when she showed how to use one of those many pallets as a full face of makeup. It was the tickled Peach. I'd love to see her do it again with one of these I'm thinking the gingerbread is the closest one
When I saw the Salted Caramel I wasn’t drawn to it bcz the pics on the ulta site doesn’t do it justice at all. I was SURE I would pass on it ...... until I saw it in person in store & I immediately fell deeply in love! Emily’s description is so spot on - it’s a BEAUTIFUL little palette that I’m so happy to have!!! 💜💚♥️
@A Round Orifice in Nothingness - yea. That’s a steep difference from what we pay here $27 for the mini & like $40 for the full size. I know that shipping costs are astronomical in Canada as well as recycling costs too. So I totally understand you passing on them. There are some brands that cost considerably more here in the states, I think Aether is one & another is a UK brand - Iconic London. So a $40-ish palette costs us close to like $58 here in the states not including tax & shipping of course. So I get it! But honestly, I couldn’t even see how the iconic London palette was $40-ish to begin with in the UK bcz the quality was absolute garbage. The shadows were weakly pigmented, dry, chalky & patchy. It was bad. Even the packaging was so cheesy & cheap. But usually the Too Faced (non holiday) palettes are pretty decent quality & the packaging is predictably nice. Admittedly, TF is one of my favorite matte shadow formulas. Along with Lorac’s Pro palettes too. Their mattes are another favorite of mine (although that’s contrary to popular opinion lol). But it has to be their Pro formula, I’ve tried Lorac’s non pro shadows in the past and they were hit/miss & not always good - it’s a different formula from their Pro palettes. I love when you do the Too Faced reviews because you're so honest and you're fair. I don't think you pick on Too faced. You rave about the stuff that you love and you don't really discourage me from wanting to buy the stuff that you didn't love. I really enjoyed when you did the Tckled Peach palette review and you showed how it could be used as a full face palette I'm kind of getting that vibe from that little mini gingerbread, that you could possibly do something like that. I'm challenging you to go through your mini pallets and see if you could do a full face using any of those mini pallets. Are you up for the challenge Emily?

I was surprised to see the shade “Candy Cane” in the mini set this year. I had the full liquid lipstick they released I think 2017? And it lasted a whole day in the Florida heat during a Disney World + Universal Studios vacation I took. Yes, even through meals. And I got plenty of compliments too ♡ And yes, I use red lipstick when traveling because it makes me look like I actually do have makeup on in photos 😂

Yes! With masks I've reunited with so many of my liquid lipsticks and im loving the color and staying power! I'm wearing my too faced pumpkin spice matte liquid lip today!😍
I want that lipstick mini set, the Salted Caramel palette, and the Cinnamon Bear set. Oh, I also want the Pumpkin Spice lipstick too. I am really liking these products that Too Faced came out with.
I would LOVE to see a blind fold makeup challenge of some sort, like you guessing what product you're smelling/holding/feeling. I think that would be so much fun!
The mini liquid sets are amazing! Nobody talks about them enough. And the mini tin palettes too, plus they’re so cute. I was so bummed last year when they didn’t release a liquid matte lip set & replaced it with a grainy feeling lip gloss set which I ended up returning 🙁
The salted caramel pallete looks like it would be a good gift- presumably its a little cheaper than a full size, but well rounded enough and not too overwhelming for someone who might want to try something a little different to what they normally do with their eyeshadow
I have been so looking forward to this review and to this video in general! Grabbed the Christmas Snuggles and melted kisses set because I had a feeling you’d like it based on the fact that you liked the previous lippies set. I love every color in it! True fall/winter colors and not a single miss in the bunch! The hot toddy and caramel apples shades have a beautiful richness to them and sugar cookie is the perfect nude. Candy cane is a gorgeous red. I love all the scents and packaging that goes with the theme of each shade! Anyway, as usual thank you so much for bringing the sunshine on this rainy, gloomy day in the Northeast 🤗☀️
You broke my heart 💔....that sugar plum fairy palette was the palette I wanted to love, but that was the third negative review, and so I must remove it painfully from my cart. 😭 WHY TOO FACED, WHY? 💔
I had looked at the Melted Matte set earlier this month. I wasn’t impressed looking at it on the Ulta site. The colors look much better on you than the swatches Ulta shows!
*Emily, if you have a shimmer that is a flakey consistency, once you get it on your brush give it a little spritz with your Fix Plus and it will keep it from flaking off onto your face. That will also make it much more metallic.*

I’m totally feeling the same as u about too faced this year. I just bought the lipstick set, salted caramel palette and the cinnamon bear set (really only for the lipstick but the palette is good too!). I’m hoping they will come out with something better next year and keep bringing out these mini lipsticks.

That eye looks is gorgeous! The small Too Faced palettes Emily has recommended are my favorite palettes! I used them everyday last year so I have to get the salted caramel now!
I know we’ve said we’re done with the liquid lipstick. And I’ve been happily wearing L’Oréal Colour Riche Shine Lipstick or Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipstick. And never looking back. Lip color is the one thing I feel naked without. And is the largest category in my collection. I’d been going without when I have to be away from home. But then I remembered I could wear liquid lipstick and feel like myself under my mask. So I’ve been rediscovering all the shades, as well as making a holiday wishlist for new colors. I love that lip kit from Too Faced. I have one from a couple years ago that I absolutely love was Gingerbread Girl. 😻 I need to pull that one out right now.
Ahhh i am such a sucker for Too Faced products!! My sis lives in MN and she texted me the other day from Ulta wanting help on picking out new face products. I steered her towards the Born This Way line and thankfully she LOVES it. Many brands I dont think are worth the price tag but I feel TF is one that does go above on packaging, feeling etc and I appreciate that.
Good call on the Gingerbread Spice mini palette. You are absolutely right. They should have switched out one of those raspberry shades for that deep dark brown.

I have not bought any makeup since March, when the COVID-19 hit my area, and will not be buying anything (clothes, cosmetics, shoes, books) for the rest of the year. The crisis has helped me remember just how much of everything I already have, so I'm shopping my drawers and closets. (But I still like to look...that's why I'm here!)

I want a palette with orange, dark orange and a super dark burnt orange with burgundy and black with gold and a pale silver that shimmers sooo bright with other ranges of dark colors.

Happy to know my choice of the Salted Caramel Palette was the right one!!! I have blue eyes so these shades make them pop. Little goes a long way and feel it is perfect for a quick, pretty look without too much decision making needed in the mornings. I am pondering the lip set now, though I usually don’t wear bold shades...your recommendations usually work for me so I am trying to be brave🦸♀️Thank you for your help and guidance!!!
I have the mini hot butters rum palette and I use it ALL the time I’m so close to hitting pan on one shade 🙌🏻 I’m happy you conspired the two because I was eyeing the salted caramel!
I bought the salted caramel palette, and I love it. I bought the Hot Buttered Rim last year as well. Both are wonderful. I was on the fence about the Gingerbread Spice palette, but wasn't sure how I felt. You're absolutely right about the deep color. Maybe that's why I was hesitating. I love that neutral lip color, but I'm not into bold looks. I would love to get that separately, but I don't think that's an option.
I was just thinking about looking to see what was happening with TF this season, and here comes Emily to tell me everything i need to know. Love the Salted Caramel palette and the liquid lip set. Also, i agree with you about lip products. I love the look of lipsticks and glosses, but if it's not gonna stay put, what's the point? ESPECIALLY with the current mask situation.
I picked up the mini salted caramel pallet, pumpkin liquid lipstick and the big pallet and I really like those. I like the big pallet the best! However I feel like some of the shadows are kinda hard. It might just be a personal preference but I like them to be a softer formula.

I love the salted caramel the best. But overall I always like these mini pallettes except the cardboard packaging ones. The liquid lips are the best. I’m a fan of all the scents too.
So I did a whole video on the Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer because it's consistency isn't thicker and tackier like others (I was used to UD Primer Potion). I thought it wouldn't work, but surprisingly it does, even though it seems too smooth and thin to be helpful. Also, definitely wasn't interested in Salted Carmel or the liquid lipsticks based on photos, but I think you might have converted me!
Love the colors of the Melted lips. I just don't know if I can pull them off with my uber-dry lips. That's why I go for a satin lipstick or a lipgloss with pigment. I'm working from home, so the mask issue isn't a big deal for me. I did buy the Cinnamon Bear gift set, so I'm going to try the melted lippie in that kit.
I love these little pallets instead of the big ones there just so easy to use or take with you. Thank you for doing these types of videos because I wanted to buy me or gift someone a two face product and this is perfect.
Has anyone else found that with Too Faced Palettes that the color doesn’t transfer well from the brush to skin? I had that happen twice with the Buttered Rum Palette and the Sweet Peach Highlighting Palette. But I’ve had good luck with the Matte Neutrals Eyeshadow and the Natural Face Palette. So it’s sometimes hit or miss on transfer of color. Great video Emily! ❤️❤️❤️
