In Kenya there are two types of property/land ownership terms; 1) Freehold- this is for Kenyan citizens where you permanently own the property until the end of the world. 2) Leasehold- for non-Kenyans who lease the property for 99 years
All the accolades are very well deserved! You are a rare act. I actually got hooked. Our very Kenya Tourism Board should take note that you have done much more in one visit in promoting Kenya, in a very authentic way, than they could in a year. They should retain you as an a tourism ambassador, especially targeting the diaspora market!
What stuck out here is...."before i leave..."😭 Are we going to miss you or what! U have it all...Model? TV personality? Real Estate marketer? ...etc etc. What do u want to be when u grow up? There is definitely a niche for you in Kenya. One can only hope😊
It was an honour having you around as our esteemed guest and visitor. Your vlogs are way up there and had me, if not most anxiously waiting for the next escapade and serving. Your ending, oh my! in each coverage, though I profess not to understand the words, cuts deep into my very soul as I believe you are speaking to the Centre of our individual existence. Big up Jasmine and you are welcome to come back to the magical motherland of Kenya. You brought sweet nostalgic memories that made me miss home. Following you from Seattle Washington.
Next time see more property slightly on the outskirts of the city centre. Try Kerarapon, Athi River, Namanga Road. You will be spoilt for choice, trust me.
Next time please have someone take you around rather than those ignorant Uber driver’s who are so clueless 😅 but thanks for making such a vlog in Kenya we love you already 😂😂😂Karibu tena
1:08 Dude is clueless. Kenya has restrictions. Foreigners can only have 99 year lease but locals are not bound by leasehold unless the property they purchase is already on leasehold, if it is freehold then it remains so only to Kenyan citizens. However, if peoperty is freehold and a foreigner purchases it it automacally changes status to leasehold. No foreigner can own freehold property in Kenya.
@@alexmunene4124 The statement that Kenya has no restrictions was very loud and blatant which is quite misleading coming from a REALTOR!! He made made it seem like there is no other side to his statement!
The vast majority of cab drivers are very ignorant. I see them all the time on RU-vid giving tourists false information, and it can be really aggravating at times. Foreigners can only purchase leasehold property, not freehold.😊
These are beautiful homes! I love the windows and house design . The price is so cheap !. I just wish that the land scape was better and manicured like in South Africa or in the US. I’ve noticed that a lot Africa lacks in greenery .
Hi beautiful princess Jasmine. Thanks for showing us these 2 lovely apartments. But if had to choice, I choice the first apartment because it came with a tub. And every now and then I love relaxing in a nice water bath, but omg, these are a lot of stairs. 😆
Watched ur many interesting videos ..in Australia...eating 🦘 meat 😮 (your mum is beautiful! In Ghana, bushrat meat...tasting home brewed cane whisky...selling water for a day on the street😂.. Its like Ghana stopped...and is waiting for ....? You do live life to the fullest though! Mmmm ... I still see you in Kenya.😢
They are NOT as greedy as WE Ghanaians where land that is not imported are sold in dollars and those of us who live abroad are promoting this. How on earth could a land or everything in Ghana be priced in US Dollars , yet workers are paid in GhC
That’s because inflation in Ghana is significantly higher and fluctuates more than in Kenya. But the inflation in Ghana reflects significant economic activities which is good in some sense but bad in other cases. The homes being sold in dollars in Ghana are not for locals obviously. These homes by and large are built to western standards.
@@samuelkobby5723 …can you name ONE single bad policy that the Akufo Addo government took that is responsible for the current state of Ghana? I actually commend the government for investing in education and infrastructure development even though the returns are not immediate. Ghana will benefit from it when future analysis look back at this period and conclude that these policies spurred the growth.
@@dadoboye1536 So now Ghana belongs to foreigners than Ghanaians, is that what you are saying? Ghanaians must become homeless in their own country but foreigner must be housed because foreigners can afford it. So why then do we condemn the presence of the Chinese in Africa? Double standardness right there.
@@samuelkobby5723 what has inflation got to do with selling land which was not imported, in US Dollars?. Was the land imported from America too? We try to justify everything when it favours us.
@@JasmineAmaaThere are some inaccurate comments here. Please note that there should be an apostrophe after "g," and the correct pronunciation is "ng'a," not "nga." The accurate version is "Lang'ata."
Your pronunciation of most Kenyan names has been perfect. In fact even your English is more East than West African. I have been looking out for your next Kenyan video. Your content and local interaction is very good. All the best in your next trip.
You can watch that information from CNN and BBC ... someone cannot pay their air tickets to film a slum....it is not a tourist attraction site.......you csn also go and film them
I need to buy a home with a young nice little Kenya lady to marry. A new house without a young beautiful wife is like a cup of tea without sugar. Find one for me and I will move right away to Beautiful Kenya.
Maybe foreigners… common Kenyan like me can never waste my hard earned money on that. I bought land in Katani 100by 100 2M i will build a huge house with spacious compound. My max cost with this inflation will be 10M
Apparently the place is serene and you hardly get to hear traffic noise. The air quality along the bypass is better than most of Nairobi and Athi River/ Kitengela based on real spatial data
