More young guys (especially from the city) need to do at least one season as a roustabout in life. Drop them in a six stand shed with the shearers doing 180 plus a day, then things get interesting.
Another informative video thanks Geoffrey. A quick video on your background might be interesting to viewers. e.g. Are you from a farming family ? Have you always been a farmer ? Is your farm the family farm or did you purchase it ? What made you purchase that block compared to any other block ? You seem to know how to fix most things - did you train as a mechanic ? Is the work at Whiteman Park museum paid or volunteer work ? Cheers.
I think we would have a episode every week for 5 or 6 weeks. I agree. If someone could interview him like a fireside chat. Its my opinion that Brookdale farm channel with the great content diserves a lot more subscribers and exposure. Dave.
Hi Thomas, I am glad you liked the video. I will try and put together a video wing some more if my background to answer your questions. Thanks from Geoffrey
Hi Dave, thanks fro your comments. I will try and put together a video with a little more about myself. What would you like to know? Thanks from Geoffrey
Hi, yes he dose use them. They also help to block the noise from the shearing down tube in his ear. Lots of shearer’s are partly deaf in one ear because of the noise from the down tube. Thanks from Geoffrey
