Hi sir, my brother also had the same type of stroke. Now he is under rehab at home. Does the Madam is doing well with her upper limb. Becz my brother has the more recovery in lower limb compared to upper. Please suggest me how to activate the upper limb fast.
I don't know why, but the lower limb comes back faster than the upper limb. Lidia can walk with a cane, but she can't hold a glass of water with her affected arm and hand. That is something that we are working on. We are noticing that it takes time but we are seeing some improvement.
@@catrilokvirtualclasses344 we are still working on her speech. But it took about 3 weeks from the time she had her stroke until she said her first word. We practice her speech every day. There are times where I purposely ignore her until she calls me by name or is specific in her request.
@@catrilokvirtualclasses344 She does ok. She has a hard time finding words to end her sentences. She'll say, "I need to go to the .... " and she can't think of how to say the word bathroom. I'll ask her if she can spell it.....and she can and then she's realizes as she's spelling it what the word is and says it. So, it is a work in progress. She couldn't get up in front of a crowd yet and say a speech. She has a hard time in front of the camera even. We're not giving up, though and are taking one day at a time. Your brother can do this with determination, patience and the help from you and his family.
