Thank you guys for getting this video so many views! But also please note this is by far my worst video I've made and if you want to see some better content check out my other videos!
marlybone is by far the worst for me. the annoying roof tops and moving around them and the quests constantly having you walk ages all around just to talk to someone then walk all the way back to talk to the previous person then all the way back to the same person again and then another person on the otherside of the map. its a horrible place to level through.
I've only done up to Mooshu bc I refuse to pay for anything & just earn crowns but here's mine: Wizard City: Unicorn Way... just very boring Krokotopia: Pyramid of the Sun... tedious running around, minimal storyline Marleybone: Hyde Park... not very rewarding quest-wise, still getting used to lack of sidewalks
Khrysalis is one of my favorite worlds, you’re actually taking the world back from Morganthe as you go and it looks so beautiful and unique compared to any world before it. And the feeling of victory when you finish it is so worth it. Love The Last Wood and the music of the world is phenomenal, i also love Sardonyx too
@@DivineBeastVahMedoh The interactions are pretty cool too, and it feels like the final world where mobs and bosses have matching health to your power level. Everything after Khrysalis is so boring to fight because you can one-shot your way through most of the world. I know bosses have cheats to compensate now but most can be avoided.
Me with mooshu I didn’t really mind khrysalis the ending was fun and stuff I’m up to Polaris and emparya sounds bad but mooshu had like no logic I just didn’t like it loo
fun fact with counterweight east/west. If you fill your potions and set your marker RIGHT as you get pulled in, you can flee and teleport back and you won't get pulled into the fight again. Pull the lever and repeat. It's a lot faster to refill potions than it is to win 3 fights in a row (especially if you're playing a school that hasn't learned an aoe spell yet). This will make the dungeon a LOT faster and only leaves you having to fight the boss and play potion motion. Just thought I'd leave this here because when I do it with randoms they're always surprised so i don't think it's a well known strategy.
I actually love the Crustacean empire in celestia it’s saved me a lot of irl money. Celestia is the only world that can drop a simplify treasure card out of its wooden chests AND for every 1 simplify there is someone out there willing to pay 1-2 months of prepaid time (the elixir).
Personally, Dragonspyre is one of my favorite worlds (and oh how I wish it would get some graphic update love). The Forum is what came to mind for me as the most monotonous, boring zone in the world. The questing in Crystal Grove sucks but at leas the crystals are pretty. The Forum just has some very weird confusing aspects of the map and it being close to the end of the world makes it feel even more miserable.
I don’t know, I just did Azteca and did it full story side and main quests. It was my first time getting to it and I actually enjoyed it so much that I did the side quests. I think I’m so bored of the same worlds playing over and over on new accounts that this new place made me enjoy it.
I'm just starting Azteca, and I'm dreading it, given how most people seem to hate it. Plus, I really enjoyed Avalon, especially the final two dungeons, so this big, long, challenging world right afterward makes me a bit worried about Wizard101 burnout.
Darkmoor has a lot of egotistical brats in my opinion some bold but foolish one fool had a fit and left when we were doing the zombie boss some players need help with their attitudes no doubt I was doing darkmoor one day and the pyromancer only used sun bird me and a another teammate had to scold the idiot and he threw a fit about it all he did was use one fire attack and blade himself
ruined alcazar Kondah Desert Family Tombs in Krokotopia (its just 20 million storm bosses) Wysteria Drum Jungle and Elephant Graveyard Outer Yard Pitch Black Lake (its cool but takes long imo) I think thats what i like to add
The only parts of the game I've ever dreaded going through are wizard city and grizzleheim. It's always such a chore. I'm also not crazy about all the tomb areas in Dragonspyre where there are like 5 rooms of mobs leading to a final boss/person to talk to
I agree with you that Azteca is an amazing world it’s by far one of my favorite world, and me staying in it for many hours just adds to it cuz it’s so colorful the mobs are interesting and Dinosaurs?!, as a kid dinosaurs were my favorite to the point I’d watch Jurassic Park over and over even tho the Rex escaping scene scared me every time…. I also agree that crystal grove is unnecessary I dread that zone every time I get to it so I agree 100%
Putting a Marleybone area as the worst is cap. You can finish the entire world of Marleybone in 2-3 hours of questing. Museum takes 30-45 minutes tops. It's actually the shortest world in terms of the amount of time it takes to complete.
Mooshu is horrible. Even if they just paste Pirate101 buildings there, it would look much better. Like wtf is Yoshito Temple, it looks like a giant Car park
I'll do some of the worst areas in each world: Wizard City: Catacombs (we all know why) Krokotopia: Grand Arena. So long to complete. Very tedious Marleybone: Ummm probably Big Ben/counterweights as well. Just so tedious to do Mooshu: Probably Cave of Solitude. That area feels very drawn out Dragonspyre: I'd say the Crucible. I actually like the Crystal Groves lmao. But I get that I am in the minority on that one Grizzlehiem: Definitely Mirkholm Keep Wysteria: I don't dislike any zone here lmao. Celestia: Definitely Crustacean Empire. That area is so drawn out and long... Zafaria: Again, I don't really dislike any zone here, but the Drum Jungle area has a lot of repetitive mob fights. Avalon: Hmmm... Idk... The Wyrd always felt very bleh to me. Azteca: Twin Giants was unfun to me. Khrysalis: The whole world is pretty bad but Sardonyx takes the cake for worst. Darkmoor I don't find to be too bad. As time goes on, I feel like I see a lot less of the "team abandonment" issues since now level 100 is far below the max level. Polaris: Walruskberg felt very drawn out to me for some reason Mirage; The whole world is very drawn out to me. But I have to dislike Aggrobah the most. So tedious Empyrea: Zanadu for the same reason as you mentioned. Long and the enemies make me want to scream Karamelle: Nibblehiem/Mines because that area felt tedious too. Lemuria: Mandoria. Also tedious. Novus: I haven't completed this world yet so I don't have an opinion yet.
Honestly just loved the theme/music of Celestia so much that the long areas really didn't bother me much. Totally agree about Marelybone though. As much nostalgia I hold for that world, all the areas feel the same and drag on. And with a good team I don't think Darkmoor is that bad.
Last Wood in Khrysalis by far is THE WORST and it not even close for me. The amount of times they put you back there and make you walk 10 miles back after you just teleported to an entirely different area. Just no horrible.
I personally don't agree Dragonspyre should be apart of the worst areas considering the Krokatopia world as a whole exists, there is almost 6 worlds that's worse like Mooshu, I agreed with most of this list however, great video :)
*dislikes the fact that all of Dragonspyre has the same themes and colour palettes* *chooses the one area with a noticable change in scenery and calls it the worst* Labryinth is the worst area of Dragonspyre and the worst Dungeon in the game
I never see anyone talk about how long Khrisalis feels. I feel like every world is long but can keep you from stopping. Dawg kris killed me. I got there with my death and on top of the annoying quest lines, I didn't understand the storyline. It seems so blurred to me.
Khrysalis doesn't feel long. It is long. That single world is larger than the entire first arc in size and quests. Which I actually like the world :D It makes sense. They wanted to do something more grand than Dragonspyre which literally only exists to facilitate its mega dungeon. Or technically the first raid of the game. Also, it's meant as the big payoff for Morganthe
@@andrewriser5494 I just got back into it recently. Why? There are some interesting things going on with the game and it's actually growing in players atm. KingsIsle got acquired last year They are talking about making the whole first part of the game free to double up on the recent success
Unpopular opinion but as much as I love wizard city I despise how so many areas are the same area with a different pallette, and it feels like Triton Avenue is the only one that was given special care, which doesn't surprise me because it's the only one that's free to play. But ALL the others never ever come close to the uniqueness of triton avenue, and it's so easy to tell most of the quests are just the same questline over and over and it's annoying. It doesn't surprise me Colossus Boulevard is the most disliked part of Wizard City because it's the point at which players say "No, screw this" with all that repetition. They don't even explain the lore or story of the alleys/avenues in the way they explain the areas in places like Krokotopia, so it's really jarring
i disagree with you here those arc 1 & 2 areas and worlds that made the game have a taste of its own now with the new worlds eveything seems empty no soul to thegame and the same money miliking process for more years i loved each areas i had a long time in them but overall its so much better than the new areas it dosen't have any challanges or fun or even a good story you either fight a guy who dosen't know what he want [ the old one ] if there is wizard101 classic the game would bring a taste to it
Azteca is my second favourite right behind Khrysalis. I love the prehistoric period and everything that is involved in the thematic of Azteca. It was the first world that I struggled to solo but that’s what I enjoy the most, being able to sleep through most of the quests and fights is lame. It also introduces you to unique battle styles and cool astral spells without letting the dialogue and story suffer. The music is also amazing.. the song (is it the song of creation?) that plays once you’ve completed the final dungeon is outstanding.
Wizard city has more then 5 areas commons, shopping district, triton, cyclops, firecat, collussis bullivard, haunted caves, the underground city, Pegasus way,
This is very true, and I'm surprised you're the first to notice that mistake. This was the first video I ever made and the quality was not all there, that's for sure 😆 I try to research a bit better with my newer videos
Personally I agree, Azetca is hated way too much for me i liked it more than Avavlon which most people seem to think is the best. I don't think avalon is bad, but i think what is overlooked about it is unlike the worlds after it, we dont really get anything other than xp. Sure Mass prism, but we dont get really great game changing or at least useful spells like celestia, Zafaria, Avalon, and Khrysalis, so while Azteca is certainly way too long, Sharpened blade, Potent Trap and the other astral spells, to me at least make up for it.
Worst areas in each world WZ: crab alley Krokotopia: emperor's retreat Marleybone: knights court/ big Ben Mooshu: shirataki temple/ village of sorrow Dragonspyre: crystal grove/ the labyrinth GH: mirkholm keep Wysteria: pigswick academy (literally an entire hour of talking to NPCs) Celestia: science center/ crustacean empire Zafaria: drum jungle/ zamunda Avalon: the wild/ care Lyon Azteca: saltmeadow swamp/ twin giants/ pitch black lake/ Tierra del brea/ cenote Khrysalis: moon Cliffs/ last wood/ crescent beach/ kondha desert/ the hive Polaris: nothing all of Polaris was amazing Mirage: aggrobah Empyrea: zanadu Didn't do the others yet
SO glad you said something about Darkmore! When I was playing more storm wizard everyone said I needed the Darkmore gear, so I kept trying to finish it. I can't even count how many times I had people bail on me. Took forever to get the gear I wanted.
Whattt I love Azteca, the architecture the new jump in armor and spells is insane, makes you become so much stronger and I like the vibe, i was a little depressed when i beat the world 😢
I feel like I'm the only one who likes Khrysalis. It's the perfect pay off and it being so long makes sense because you are essentially healing the world. It's the best end of arc world. Morganthe was actually properly built up as a threat and seemingly had the most impact on the spiral, even more than Mallistaire. At least before the 4th arc which is all about the worlds forming and collapsing
I actually love the Crustacean empire in celestia it’s saved me a lot of irl money. Celestia is the only world that can drop a simplify treasure card out of its wooden chests AND for every 1 simplify there is someone out there willing to pay 1-2 months of prepaid time (the elixir).
That essentially lead to the creation of the empower market. Empower treasure cards are the de facto currency for everything the game now. Before then, it was just broken cards like that that were traded for stuff on the crown store and other services Gamma's Trading Post if you didn't know about it
