God I remember Outkast being one of the first new artists I heard as a kid that absolutely floored me and I realized the music was truly special. Start being an obsessive fan only for them to drop the underwhelming Idlewild and break up 😔

I like most Lana projects, but I'd have to say Ultraviolence is her worst. It's not the worst thing I've ever heard, but Lust for Life definitely has better singing, and production even if not all of the features make sense in the context of the album. I don't think Lust for Life really compares to NFR or Chemtrails, or hell, I really like Blue Banisters, but I still I still think it's good. It's just tracks like Florida Kilos...her singing is just so much better now than it was at the start of her career.

the only one of these artists i listen to is lana, so that’s the only one i actually had an opinion on. lust for life is my least favorite also. i think it has good individual songs, but it has quite a few skips, and i don’t feel like it comes together as an album very well.
