The thing about Human After All is that I may not have been the biggest fan of the record, but the tracks clearly must be bangers because I LOVE Alive 2007. The slight modifications they made when it was live makes them fantastic. I may not return to Human, but Alive I regularly listen to.

I agree that Human After All is their worst but tbh, its a record thay i think is a lot stronger than people make it seem. Tracks like Make Love, Robot Rock, Brainwasher, a lot of those are all-timers.

Interesting take! I personally love Daft Punks Human After All and it's my favorite album by them. I know they only worked on it for around a month and it has a lot of "wasted" potential, but overall, the final product isn't bad. Ill admit it isnt some grandiose project like Discovery or RAM, but the simplicity the record has is pretty good! Robot Rock, The self titled track, Make love, and Prime Time are all very hard hitters. I think that Daft Punk wanted a simpler approach with their next project and Human After All was the outcome. I think they achieved what they wanted and I personally enjoy it.

Don't know about this, for me Homework is worse than Human After All. Probably HMW has more iconic songs but on the long run it's too much repetitive. I have always seen HAA like a sequel to that album. It has repetitive pattern too but more connected to the overall concept (music from a robot perspective)

Father of All felt more like a Billie Joe side project than it did Green Day. I don't think it would've been received as poorly if it was released by The Foxboro Hottubs or something like that. Like, there are good songs on there. Not a lot of good songs, but a few. The problem is that they're just not green day songs

Man, I stopped listening to Green Day after Uno, Dos, Tres. I didn't know it could get worse. Surprisingly, they made a follow up album to 2003's side project The Network in 2020 and it's actually pretty good. Not as good as the original 2003 "Money Money 2020" album but it's pretty good.

I agree that HAA is their weakest album but I'll still give Daft Punk props for 2 reasons. 1. It's still pretty damn good for the amount of time they spent working on it (I think it was only a few months). 2. Weak by DP standards still means there are some serious bangers on there AND every song strengthened/was helped by the god-tier remixes on Alive 2007.

I think RAM is the worst Daft Punk album. Not saying that it's bad, but I just don't care much for the more mainstream sound of it. Human After All is pretty repetitive though even for an electronic album.

Human after all was fodder for them to mix into their Alive tour shows. I think they even said they only worked on the songs for like 3 weeks.

was afraid he was gonna say the Tron soundtrack cuz i absolutely love it to pieces and i find the hate for it utterly baffling. It did exactly what a movie score is supposed to do - it elevated the movie, making it incalculably better than it would have been otherwise, and I think they did an astonishingly good job of combining their sound with the elements of a traditional score. I've loved listening to movie scores since childhood (starting with Jurassic Park at age 11, the cassette of which I played to destruction) so, in my view, it was a match made in heaven. That being said, for me to even begin to chose a 'worst' album from them, I need to imagine a literal gun pointed at my head - only in that case can I say that I agree with Human After All since I adore that album as well. It gets the choice only because I think it's the one i've listened to the least - if I want to hear any of those songs, I tend to put on Alive 07 (besides the title track, which brought me to tears the first time i heard it - i've probably listened to that on it's own, without the rest of it's album, more than any other single song of theirs).

Hot take: these 3 artists have no "bad" albums. Even the most-"meh" from GD is either FOAMF or Dos/Tre, but each of those are still at least half made of solid songs. 3 incredible bands/artists in this clip!

I must be the only one, but Human After All is my favorite Daft Punk album, and I quite enjoy listening through it in full. Technologic is probably the only one I skip.

I honestly think the trilogy albums (Uno, Dos, and Tre) are worse than Father of All. At least Father of All was a memorable mess. The trilogy was just mediocre, bloated, and boring, which is worse in my opinion.

Father of All Motherfuckers is by far Green Day's most disappointing album. I feel like they wrote the opening track, "Father of All", and simply had to make other songs to go along with it because Green Day fans will not be satisfied with a single release (I should know, I'm a die-hard Green Day fan). It really shows, that song is by far the only song on the album that is worth it. However, that song is not good enough to justify the existence of the whole album and they should have just released it as a single, like they did with "Pollyanna", another slept on Green Day banger.

I actually think Jesus is King was great, definitely different than his normal albums, but it was a breath of fresh air with some gigantic legendary production and many memorable moments. Most of the project was quite unique and enjoyable in my ears💯

Human after all is the album to build mixing bridges with their other stuff.

Personally I love human after all, grew up listening to all of the songs on that album. But yeah, it's probably the worst production wise that daft punk has to offer, it has a charm that I can't help but love though.

i actually really love “on god” but not from the jesus is king album- actually there’s a song on one of kanye’s unreleased albums (Yandhi) where it has dua lipa on it, with absolutely euphoric vocals in the background, and it’s so much better, i wish that album was released so bad!

Donda 2 is as done as it's going to get, he released it and hasn't touched it since so I'm personally fine calling it his worst album. Even if it was finished, whatever that would've looked like, it probably wouldn't have been much better

Father of All being the “worst Green Day album” is probably one of the easiest statements to agree on in all of music, and I’m a big Green Day fan. I find more redeeming qualities in Shenanigans, which is a Green Day album many people forget exists, and that’s saying something.
