Robert and Vera Goulet were married on October 17, 1982 in The Little Chapel Of The West, Las Vegas, NV. It was a private ceremony with close friends and family, followed by a horse and baggie ride on the Strip and a spectacular star studded reception at the Dunes attended by over 900 guests. Glenn Ford gave the bride away and Wayne Newton was the best man.This video features some of the wedding highlights.

Bob Goulet was a nice warm man , my cousin worked with him , and he called some stranger up who was sick in the hospital my aunt . A real great man!

How wonderful! The first time I had ever heard this song was in the early 70's, when I used to check out LP records at the library. I thought it was the most beautiful thing, and the perfect man to sing it. Thank you so much for sharing it, and the special video.

His voice was the greatest! Fabulous vocal support. Possibly the orchestra is too loud on the tuttis. That final chord is a work of genius! Right out of Ravel!

I like to find the same song but the other version that I uses to listen from your husband voice, it's a bit different, more intensity.
