I agreed with everything you said, Nick. HuaHua's artistry is one of the finest qualities in his music. Stage presence is another. I love that you showed us your arm hair standing up. LOL This song will do it. You weren't the only one on the edge of his seat. Did you see the audience? They're holding their breath. He's such a storyteller. Thanks for reacting to this. Thank you for this reaction NIck, I''m really happy to see you back with HuaHua.❤ He is one of the few singers who has tackled emotions such as anger, pain and frustration in his music, he can be quite avant-garde in his stylings for some pieces and then the next one he can be pure pop or rap or whatever he feels suits the music the best, he often struggles to keep the tears back when he sings some songs, sometimes unsuccessfully. Thank you again, I love watching your face react as the song unfolds. 🌺🌺

Hua Hua is a master of the stage, his performance mesmerizing. The emotions he displays in his vocals, body, face and eyes are raw and genuine. This is a genius performance by Hua Hua...this is art, not singing...It is shocking and brilliant. He is so different from most artist and I just love this guy. Thanks, Nick for getting back to Hua Hua.

Great to see another HuaHua reaction. In general it is better to watch the longer vids as he will talk about his approach. Can I suggest when you watch this again go for the longer one that includes the pre-stage interview as it will give you a different and deeper view of why he performed this cover song in the way he did ( you might need tissues). The same goes for the trilogy of songs covering about depression as I think it’s really good to know the background to the songs. I agree he is a singer who puts way more emotion into his performances than others, in the case of Fake Monk it’s interesting to see when he breaks character and stands up from the piano in the longer version. I think one other singer performs with the same emotional intensity and curiously enough he is the same age and that is Ren.

Nick, I adore Hua, his soul and his amazing voice! Every his song is performance. He is incredible. As I told you, I love SHAMAN more than anybody, but then I love Ren, Hua and Vasco. @@bignickofficial For me Hua Chenyu is light years away from Dimash artistically, musically and vocally and don't have the same influences at all. The only thing they have in common is that they participated in the same contest

Who else would dare to come up with something like this. And bravo to Singer to let him perform like that. I would suggest you to react to God tree from Wuhan concert. There is an official MV. That is very strong song and the video gives a glimpse into his this year's festival style concert.

I always say Hua Hua is a combination of David Bowie and Freddie Mercury.. THAT good. Chameleon like in appearance and a true artist. You should look at his recent performances. He's had his hair every style.

Yes, he is a great artist, true ARTIST. I love him. I went for his concert to Beijing previous year from Europe. His concerts are ideal. True macterpieces! If you didn't listen to Illusion and Reality by Hua Chenyu, just do it. You won't regret :)

I haven't listened to Hua in a few years and have recently gotten back into him. Dimash might be a better vocalist, Talyor Swift might be a better pop entertainer, Ren might be better at pushing the limits, but if you're talking about the total package, creativity, versatility, lyrics, stage performer, ect, Hua is top of the tier list. There is one performance that tops them all, it will either leave you in tears or speechless, one of the two. It quickly got the reputation of being the saddest song in the world and I guess China didn't like that image, so it was pulled off RU-vid, it's really only available in reaction videos. He also completely re-arranged the song in 24 hours. I do have that video, I just haven't figured out how to repost it and get around the copyright issues. Oh, almost forgot, the song is Jay Chou's "Dad, I'm Home".
