@@NuttyMongrel Yes, I always thought this! Also orange. It's such a beautiful contrast and does the opposite of washing them out or making them look sickly like those colours can sometimes do for white women
@Shanna Brown How? Because I'm complimenting her? The reason I even brought up her skin is because colorism is a real thing and I obviously want everyone to feel good about themselves. But as a black person, I want to especially uplift black women with darker skin. You really could've kept your comment to yourself.
I have seen that look before. It is so intriguing, glueing, entrapping even but behind it larks something evil trust me. Satan must be very handsome.....
Jemima Janvier I think so too! I get Caribbean A LOT! I also think it has to do with from in Africa your ancestors came from. I’m Congolese and a plethora of Caribbean people have Central African ancestry.
Black women in yellow just 😍😆🤣 Edit: *At least over 800 people could see I was complimenting her. What are the people replying to me not getting? I used heart eyes and squealing emojis because she's pretty in the yellow. First of of all, I'm dark-skinned so these comments saying I'm bitter, jealous, to get a tan are funny. Please work on comprehension skills. It's getting sad at this point.*
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I always feel calm during the assumptions part but then I start getting nervous when it gets to the "will you date me" part. 🤣
@@countessofmontecristo3849 no, that term was used amongst Black ppl because of the degradation. Ask your parents if they called each other that (if they are non Black) no... but Black people have been saying this for YEARS! On social media we carried that on and people caught on and started doing it too.
I get where she’s coming from. They seemed pretty compatible in terms of character, intellect, humour etc, but the spirituality issue runs deep and would’ve created too much distance between them.
It could be in my guessing game as I know two young men with that name although spelled Trig. Of course, I would never have pulled that out of my memory but it is tucked into my brain.
@@issagold7176 damn b who hurt you what does this has to do with being straight 😭 all that person did was make an observation based on their opinion it’s not that deep 💀😭.
He smiled because she's pleasant to look at. You don't know if you like someone until you determine if you are compatible. There is a huge difference between attraction and like.
"Well-traveled" is such a pretentious word... you literally don't need to put effort into it, just have money and time.. It is a priviledge, not a personality trait..jeeeez
obviously not true... jeeeez... some people prefer spending money on clothes, cars, jewellery, nice food, electronics, etc ... some people prefer to spend that money on travel. You might say that many people cannot afford either of those things... but majority in the US of A can... and prefering paying 30k on a nice car and not 1k to go somewhere... IS a personality trait.
@@DamirSecki yep that is totally fine, what irks me when one thinks this a personality trait, a characteristic. Not necessarily everyone is open minden who has visited lots of places as an outsider. And not everyone is close-minded who spent their entire life in a small village.
But that was kinda a stupid analogy honestly. He could have said "I didn't exist before I was conceived ", because we exist during sleep and we also dream and are partially conscious.
JONES if you don’t remember something happening does not mean it did not happen/ exist. Our consciousness streamlines through all the phases of sleep including dreamscapes. Whether or not we remember. So he seems poetic for someone on his level of understanding but I feel he needs to look deeper within to understand exactly what he is saying. He could do better. we all could but. PS: I’m not all knowing either. I’m atheist but spiritual (introspective, positively self critical and curious about the universe and the power of meditation). This is how I know the deeper you look.. the more you know for sure that there is something to look even deeper for. I.e. “more I know, I know I do not know”
She can't date an atheist at least she is upfront about it because some would date an atheist in hope of changing them and get frustrated/resentful when they can't do that.He seems cool too .
People should respect other people’s beliefs. My friends are Muslim and Buddhist and they love each other. They respect each other. Just respect one another.
ShadyBrooks An atheist didn’t convince anything 😂. I didn’t date him because of his religious belief, I dated him because of his personality and because he has the same goal as me. The first thing on my mind wasn’t “ does he believe in god?”. If you are looking for a religious man especially one that follows all the rules, you will be single forever.
@@lilarodrigues2698 Honey, I don't think you realize this but I was mainly speaking for myself. If you can't relate, great but other people do. I was just making a broad statement like you did. I've ran across some Atheist who talk about hating religion all day and the ones who would like me to date them. Pretty annoying.
She is so pretty! Also, he said religion was 'casual' in his family growing up, and then started talking about being asked to pray before meals, church etc. If that was 'casual' according to him, I wonder what would devout or regimented look like.
devout ritual is prayer in the morning and and evening and before meals and reciting the kruzifix at least once a week and go thru every bead takes about one hour. so he meant it with the casual thing,
It can definitely be casual for some people. Yes, his family may have prayed before eating and the other things he mentioned, but all of those behaviors are sometimes done in households in which a lot of emphasis is not placed on religion. My family was casual in the same way, and I'm atheist, so I can definitely relate to his experience.
I don't necessarily agree with everything he said but he seems like he would definitely be someone that you could never be bored talking to or could share some interesting perspectives.
the question about the conversation before her grandmother’s death is so thoughtful, they seem so harmonious in general and i love that, loved the entire video tbh.
@@zoetsahai My spiritual belief is that there's no such thing as spiritual phenomena. This lady just doesn't want to date somebody she disagrees with, which is fine but then she shouldn't have said she would date somebody with different spiritual beliefs.
Some Haiti people really do have hair textures like that ( their real hair). So I get where she was coming from but her wig although pretty looks “wigish” to me, even that white boy can tell! His expression is like ummm, “okkkayyy sis? 😆😅.
"I cease to exist when I fall asleep..." No, you cease to be aware that you exist. There's a difference. If your leg caught fire while you were asleep, you would very suddenly realize that you had existed the entire time.
@@KarenMunozI that's a very self-centered ideology. If you're not aware of the suffering of others, does it in any way diminish their suffering, or does it just make you ignorant? I'm not insulting you. I apply this to myself. Of course the tree makes a sound!! Also, it displaces the animals living in it!! And, if you're deaf and blind and inadvertently walk under it as it falls... you may lose your life...
'Well travelled' sounds so hypocrytical, I think. Because not everyone can afford that, especially at a young age. It should be more like do you have wanderlust.
@@fickyni2 Yep this is exactly why his sentiment felt so elitist. If they were living in Europe then someone's lack of international traveling could indicate they have no interest in visiting other places since transport is relatively affordable and easy, whereas Americans need a lot of money and a full day of air travel to go almost anywhere outside the US. He's looking for someone who has had the privileged opportunity to see the world as much as him rather than someone who has the desire to travel and learn. Very odd.
I think she means that darker black people are like a black canvas that allows colours to really pop on them. Invented as in look good in it like it was made for them
White men are generally unaware of the problems that black women have with their hair. I had to find it on google because I was confused by the comments here. I am from Central Europe and I saw the first real black man/woman at the age of 27. I knew that African women had short and curly hair. But I thought that black women in America no longer have these problems in general (due to more than two centuries of race mixing, a different diet, climate, lifestyle). I've always been amazed at how beautiful and rich hair the black women have. And if you asked my fellow citizens, they would say the same thing - black women have beautiful long, rich hair. The information that they usually have wigs or hairpieces is relatively new to me. :-)
This was maybe my most favorite episode. I loved the authenticity and realness of both of their replies to the questions and while it wasn't a match, I think it was in that they both showed up and were open to their truths.
I thought it was weird I have mental problems but I never had a doctor ask me about assisted suicide! I thought if you were suicidal you were just suicidal what the hell they mean by assisted?
@@dreamingbig98 They also assist suicide for mentally illness these days. It's very common in The Netherlands, Belgium and parts of Switzerland to assist mentally ill people with suicide. It's sad because the person with mental illness is not 100% of sound mind to make the decision but still there are institutions that accept their applications
There is something about this guy, he seems like he is difficult to please, he seem like has to challenge everything for the sake of trying to be extreme different.
Miss Panama they and but not in the way he is. From the look I knew he was attracted but when she named touristy destinations and that she spoke one language I knew it was over. For her I knew it was over when he said he was atheist.
This was very interesting to watch he seems like a lovely person, and so does she. I loved that they seemed to connect and cared about the little details about each other's lives.
I want to spend an entire evening with him where he talks at me. I don't need to respond. The cadence of his voice and the way he expresses himself is all I need.
It was projection. Her own dealbreaker turned out to be "not religious" even though she stated before that she would date someone with different spiritual beliefs.
She is Absolutely Gorgeous! I thought they had a chance , but when he said Atheist ! I knew it was kind of Over! They had good chemistry, but he seemed a little Emotionally Detached!
I also thought they had good chemistry. I was a bit surprised that she was never interested. I knew that once she said that she hadn't been to that many places that that was a turning point for him since that's a big aspect of his life.
@msc14111990 I disagree. He was ok, in my opinion, but it goes to show that there are some differences that show incompatibility. I'm atheist, and I definitely don't think I'm arrogant. I don't go around questioning others beliefs or anything like that. The only time I really even mention it is when other people bring up going to church, assuming I attend a church as well, so then I have to bring it up.
JONES...correct. Spiritually also doesn’t necessarily involve any type of relationship with a god. For example, Buddhists don’t believe in a god so by definition they are atheists but are still spiritual. Meditation is spiritual. Doesn’t require you to believe in a certain thing to do it.
He said he believed that there wasn't anything.... Believing in the total opposite isn't the same thing as falling in the category of open to dating someone with different spiritually.
When I hear that there are atheist people out there my heart really and truly hurts for them 🙁 I hope we can all be guided to the truth but then again god only helps those who he wills
Assumptions about them, prior to watching: Well-groomed, cares about their appearance, but also eco-conscious. She definitely has a college education. He might, but not sure. They both find each other attractive but he’s going to say something stupid to scare her away... And if not now, by the end of their 1st date
