I have a old susuki quadrunner 400 2006 model with kenda exucutioner tires it's kind of trash but I still pretend like I'm you and braydon yall inspire me a lot.
The key with Aztex's is wheel speed. With a higher HP engine they work 'really good" the lugs aren't as aggressive as Motohavoks or Assassinators but work just as well or better in most cases. Also the Cryptids are a very capable 28" mud/trail tire. I would highly them for lower HP machines... Great break down video.
Thanks for the info on the Aztex I can’t wait to test them on my Outlander and YES I know it! After I got done filming I couldn’t believe I forgot to mention the Cryptids, such a great low HP tire
@@ADVENTURESThisWay Now that your on the dream machine, after getting fed up with your Sportsman, what are your thoughts on mudding a Base 850 Renny? Would it be in the same situation as the Sporty? Would I run into issues with it being a non factory mudder (even after getting FFun motorsports to install their snorkels and and rad relocate if needed here in SK), or do you think that was a PoPo thing? I cant afford monthly payments on XMR 1k but I could afford a Base 850 with QSC/STM and tires added to the financing and then just pay for snorkels.
@@legowolf22 great question! But first I didn't get fed up with my Sportman to the point that didn't want it anymore. Ultimately rebuilding the engine was not a smart financial decision. Now my advice is get a machine that will do what you want it to. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a base 850 and turning it into a MUD specific machine. An 650 XMR Renegade (2022) would be the way to go and get clutches and the snorkel extensions, different tires and you are set for %90 of extreme terrain
I got a 850 highlifter edition and the highlifter edition come with gear reductions from factory. I had the 30inch outlaws and they did good but when I switch to the 32inch aztec (they are 14lbs lighter than the 30inch outlaw 2s) it felt like I had a smaller tire on bc of the weight difference and know my atv performs insane in the mud terache r my go to tires from now on
i have a outlander 500 and i have a dalton clutch kit and i can still spin 29.5 assassinators in THICK clay that is always being baked and then i got a full exhaust and a tuner and i can still wheelie in high easiily from a 10 mph run and it still spins like CRAZY
2018 Honda rancher 4x4 power steering electric shift on 27 zillas skinny wide set up. And I thank you and give you credit for guidance on buying mine years ago
@@jpstephensyt thanks man, also I got 27in mega mayhems on a 420 and my buddy has 30in Aztecs on his. He swears up and down I should get them too bud I feel like 30in is just too much for a 420. What do you think?
I run 29.5 sassy’s on supercrushlocks on a 4x4 300 no gr... but I mainly ride water cause I’m from south ga and that’s what the parks here mainly consist of
I have a Honda pioneer 700 on 31. Inch dermax ag and a can am outlander 600 with 34 inch assassnaters they both can full send it at Elton Swamp and more
Debating between mud lites 2 or zilla 26 inches maybe. Unless there’s another one I might get still looking. Ain’t tryna get no big tires since I ain’t tryna do no gear reduction and it won’t be a 100% mud machine
I’m gonna have to say that the best Mud/trailer tire That I found for a machine under 48 hp would be the cst ancla they are super durable super lightweight six ply design the 28s have an inch and a quarter lug on them I had them on my Yamaha grizzly 700 and it pulled them phenomenally well wasn’t anywhere I couldn’t go super smooth on hard pack as well a very underrated tire most but a very awesome tire I currently have a Can-Am renegade 570 base model with M1 evils freaking insane tire love them mud slimy rocks hard pack doesn’t matter they go
great tires but they dig in sand really bad, and cause outlaws silver backs and aztecs to have an advantage, mega mayhems the 28" size one are awesome too, they weigh almost the same as the 30s , the lugs are like ¼ to ½ shorter but the 28s come with a few more lugs and climb hills, logs, and rocks way better
what u think i should get for a grizzly 700, i got 29.5 outlaw 3s rn but they are going bald, thinking about getting aztex or another set out outlaw 3s or maybe some other type of tire. most of the mud i hit is real soft. what u think?
I have a 2013 foreman 500 foot shift power steering, hmf slip on, big gun optimizer, snorkeled. Currently have 27 mega mayhems and they do fairly well for newfoundland skeg here in canada. The only thing the tires lack is side lug. She spins them all day in deep stuff im looking to go to a 28 inch tire with some side lug. Any recomendations for canandian skeg?
Great question quinton so specific!! A set of og outlaws is awesome for the muskeg!! 28” outlaw 2s have a lot of side lug too and crazy tread spacing but it is a heavier tire! So the outlaw 1 may be the better option
Have a Honda foreman 400 thinking about putting Zilla’s on it has a 2in lift would you recommend doing the same width all the way around or wider in the back and skinnier in the front and if do the same side all the way around what width
hey man, what are some soft atv tires for hard rough terrain? I have new Honda Rubicon and dont really want mega mayhems although they have good soft flex. do you have any recommendations for soft flex mud tires ?
I’m prolly gonna get 25 possibly 26 in black mambas for my 300. I got super swamper vampires right now. There great but I’m thinking black mambas. They look insane and only $110 for 25in. So I’m thinking I’m gonna get them
Raw hides Wolley Boggers Chang chins lol don’t know if it’s spelled this way or not those were sum I can remember when I was a little Jasper back in the day hahah
I have a can am outlander 570 XMR and have a full rjwc exhaust system, cv tech primary, and spring in my secondary clutch. What tire would you recommend. Size and aggressiveness
hey jp, i got an outlander 850 with a cvtech primary, how do you think it would do on 32 inch silverbacks? or is there any other tire you could recommend. i want to have 2 seperate sets of wheels. one for trail and one for mud.. there was a set of black mambas near me for 600$ with wheels, would that be a good buy or would i bust parts?
The 32 silverbacks would do great! And those Black mambas would probably require a secondary clutch! Beware though the 32 silverbacks aren’t easy on parts either! 😂
thanks bud 👍 I'll probably go for the backs and just be easier on the gas hahaha. I'm getting upgraded axles all around so hopefully she holds together
I have a 2021 rancher 420 foot shift straight axle wanting to go 30in cryptid what power mods would you recommend, getting them to perform better in mud because it’s stock but still want to do good on trails
I got a 2021 Polaris 850 orange rust. Well I’m trying to figure out what would be best for me staying around 28inches rocks and mud what you recommend? someone told me to get 28 xm310
I’m in the market for some mud tires for my Polaris sportsman 570. I was looking at the 28 inch outlaw 1 tires and was wondering if you think they would spin good on my four wheeler. Everything is still stock. No exhaust or optimizer. Any advice on what type of mud tire I should get for my 570 would be greatly appreciated!
The only 30 I recommend with no power mods are the 30” Zillas, maybe 30” Aztex, and skinny 29.5” Outlaw 1s. Anything more aggressive I recommend an aftermarket exhaust and tuner.
Any recommendations for my 2022 520 rubicon electric shift DCT. Im interested in OutLaws2 skinny but im concern if my machine will have any issues with out a gear reduction..PLEASE ADVISE, TIA
