Feelz The Don but if someone has 4 aces no one could have a royal flush correct? So wouldn’t then a straight, flush, and straight flush beat quad aces??
thats crazy cause full house beats a flush...Remember Royal Flush, straight Flush,4 of a kind,Full house,Flush,straight, three of a kind,two pairs, then high card...so idk how u lost with a full house to a flush
I believe in some variants of poker (ie. short deck where full houses are more common), a flush beats a full house as flushes have a lower chance to form. If you weren’t playing NLHE, this could explain it.
I learned by playing "GUN", at the time I didn't know a damn thing about the game just that I could win by constantly raising.....and I won 3 playthroughs that way! then I noticed Red Dead Revolver did the same thing OFTEN in multiplayer so I started catching on when I finally started playing.....I already knew the game inside and out! (played Red Dead Revolver for YEARS!)
@@feelzthedon994 no I'm pretty sure there is no side pot because the kicker determines the winner. Unless both players are all in and the person with less chips wins the hand
Watched this and im now smoking people online. I just raise the money when I see potential flushes or full houses. People usually back down assuming I have whats obvious on the table when I dont. I just assume someone has what I see and challenge it to make it look like I'm the one who im actually worried about lol
Lets say you are playing texas holdem and you have a queen and an 8 in your hand. if 2 queens come out on the flop lets say, would that be considered 3 of a kind or do you have to have two of the same number in your hand before it is called a 3 of a kind?
The person with pocket queens wins. Because they have the highest 2 pair. Player 2 has 3 pairs but you can only use your highest 2 pair because it has to the best 5 card hand or less. So in this situation the the pair of 7's cancels out
You cant actually play a 3 pair because it's a 6 card hand. In poker you have to have the best possible hand in 5 cards or less. So basically you play your highest 2 pairs and the lowest pair cancels out.

I think I know what hand you are referring to. I came here to learn as well. Phil had A5 and the other guy had 99. The board was A5594. So both players had a full house but since the other guy had three of a higher value (9) than Phil (5), the other guy won. I previously thought you counted the highest cards regardless if you had two or three of a kind.
I think it's just the outlines of all poker games.....unless we are talking cards dealt out (if it's 2: it's texas hold'em, if it's 4: it's omaha, if it's 5: it's 5 card stud, if it's 7: it's 7 card stud) then you have 5 card hold'em which is EVERYONE gets 5 cards!
