Love your videos! Very thorough and helpful. If I could add my experience, I am 5'2" and 113 lbs and use Bellicon's "Extra Strong." I got it because my husband is 200 lbs and that was the suggestion, but I LOVE it. It is _definitely_ a workout for me to push the mat down to do the health bounce. I can feel it in my thighs, glutes, abs...it's easy and hard at the same time if that makes sense. I ordered Medium so I'd be able to switch them out, but I actually _changed the order_ to get another set of Extra Strong for when these wear out. I'm loving that I can do gentle aerobics or HIIT (high intensity interval training) and work my muscles pretty hard no matter what I'm doing. My feet get tired, but like you said about your ankles on Medium, my feet will strengthen, too.

It’s great that you like and promote the Bellicon. But, I have to go with the Jumpsport, primarily because it provides an adjustable bounce and the approximate 50% less cost of Jumpsport. It appears that both products are high quality in materials and workmanship, and equally attractive. Keep putting out the information and sharing your knowledge, and thank you for doing so.

Thank you for your videos! I'm going to get a Bellicon (I'll use your link) and this is where I'm stuck, I can go between the Strong and Extra-Strong, and I think the video has me set on the Strong. I agree, we're not looking for "air" here, it's for health. I have a cheaper one now and LOVE it. I have so much energy I don't want to lay down all the time. Rebounding is awesome.

I’ve been watching your videos for a couple months, very informative, thanks so much. I just ordered my first bellicon yesterday, I have a cheap rebounder right now. Ive only had it a month, but wanted to switch up my cardio, I got the ultra strong bungees because I want to do fast cardio, maybe in a year I’ll go down to the strong bungees just for change. I can’t wait to try it. I was using an elliptical and have lost 97 pounds in 4 years now I just need a change. I also do kettlebells and strength training.

Nice video, not sure if you proved that the bungee from Bellicon has better quality than the bungee from JumpSport or just a different response to tension. All and all we think the Bellicon should be better at 2x the cost of a premium JumpSport at $600 vs $1200 for a premium Bellicon. Are the Bellicon bungees worth $600 plus more? That we are not sure of.

I think it has more to do with the longer bungee distance on the Bellicon from the mat to the frame, than anything. The shorter the bungee, it physically can’t stretch as much. I am assuming since I only have a generic $80 bungee trampoline. The bungee distance is so short, there is not much stretch to have. I could cut the legs in half easily, because of the hard bounce you get. Much better than the $60 spring one I tried though. When I order I’ll use your link. You are more helpful than anyone.

this was SUPER helpful. I have a 40" Fit Bounce Pro and am going to get a 2nd rebounder for another location. I jumped on my friends used Bellicon 40" with strong bungees and I liked her softer bounce but her bungees might have been jumped on a lot and it didn't feel as tight as my new rebounder. My question is: is the Bellicon ALL about the bungees or also the actual trampoline? Couldn't I get the 44" Fit Bounce Pro and put Bellicon bungees on it? I looked at the back of both and they seem interchangeable. Do you know?

I asked the same question to Bellicon and this is their response "On average, bellicon users will need to replace their bungees every 2 years or so with consistent daily use (about 30 minutes). The bungees are covered under a 1 year warranty. The best way to prevent your bungees from wearing out quickly is by rotating them on the hook of the mat every month or so, so that one point of the bungee isn't getting constant friction. If that makes sense? Just tugging one end of the bungee to shift it a little, it doesn't require dis-assembly.

Man, I really wish the Bellicon was cheaper! I would love to get one, but it looks like I'll be getting a $130ish bungee rebounder instead. The problem with these is that often the companies don't even sell replacement bungees! I'm considering buying some Bellicon bungees and modifying them a bit to fit the trampoline I'm getting, matching the size of the bungees it comes with. It looks like I'll probably need to adjust the hog rings on the cords or put on new ones to make the diameter of the bungees smaller. There seems to be a lot more space between the mats and frames on the Bellicons compared to other rebounders.

I understand what you are saying for sure... It took me 2 years and 3 cheap trampolines before getting a Bellicon. The JumpSport is a good one though and the bungees seem stronger than others. Hi there! Great observation and question. Our experience from both our Bellicon's have been the same. After a couple months, there was a break-in period were they softened. (I enjoyed what they softened too) It wasn't till around 2 years that we definitely noticed that they should be replaced. This was from every day use. Remember to adjust your bungees once a month. Take one off at a time and put it back on the opposite way. This should make them last longer and wear more evenly. I am really happy you have been rebounding consistently, congrats! I hope you have been feeling the benefits and you feel better throughout the day! I wish you continued energy and motivation! Have a wonderful week!

Before this sale was advertised you could pick your color on the ring, and do it yourself assembly wasnt offered, it would come assembled. I feel like these are two things they changed because of the sale and will go back to way before after sale over, and they doing it to save money on their end to make up for 15% off. Or will extra strong work well for both our needs?

Correction I got confused by another post with 230 lbs listed as well. I’m 215 and the red clip / extra strong is bit more optimal overall for me. At 200 lbs I’d defer to point he mentored in video; if on the fence weight (according to chart) go for the stronger. So in this case “extra strong” level will be best. Hello again☺️ thank you for the questions! Have you checked the recommendation based on your weight on the website? I would tend towards the softer bounce depending on that graph. If you want, you can respond to me with your weight and your rebounding experience. I will give you my thoughts👍

@@brentsmith1 Hi, I’m 165llb and 5’’7, but I had broken my ankle in a fall in the past and it didn’t heal in the correct alignment , that’s why I was concerned about the correct bungee. strength . Don’t want my ankle to pronate as I jump.Not sure if I should get medium or strong . Ready to give up treadmill , and want to use the rebounder now. Thanks for your reply !👍👍👍

I would definitely go for strong. There will be plenty of bounce and fun, especially with the 49". The larger ones seem to have a softer bounce. I am going to recommend the Pilates Ball to use for your pronation. You will put it in between your legs for only 2-3 minutes at a time to get your feet used to the correct position. I will do my next video on the ball👍☺️ Trideer 23cm Pilates Ball from Amazon Again, I wish you continued awesomeness and keep up the great work!

I am choosing my first Bellicon and it is rocket science! I have 53kg and I want to use it for light exercise, not hard cardio - I cannot decide between the bungee strenghts - from the table it says I should take the softest but after watching your video and the ankles stuff...I am a bit confused. Now, I don't know what exactly does that mean - will the softest be too soft for just jumping? Please give some advice.

Hello Jasminka 😊 I totally understand it can be confusing. I recommend the medium bungees. It will be a great bounce and give you some room to do more aggressive bouncing in the future. I wish you tons of fun and health!😊

Hello again! Thank you for the compliment, I'm glad it was helpful! I weigh 160 and my wife weighs 125. I prefer the 'strong' bungees and she prefers the 'medium'. I would not mind only having a 'medium', if that makes sense. Please ask if you want more information or have another question. Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I'll keep a better eye on it in the future. Have a wonderful week!

Do the foldable legs on the Bellicon get wobbly after a period of daily jumping? I’m considering purchasing a 44” one, strong, with foldable legs. I’m 5’3”, 120 lb.

@@crystalsoul77 I got in touch with Bellicon they said they are as strong as the fixed legs. And more importantly I just got an email yesterday they are having an open box sale 30% off right now! I just bought mine but you could get one at 30% off! They said it is their lowest price ever. I hope you can get one 😁

Me and my husband are wanting to get one to share. I weigh 115 and my husband is about 230. Should we get strong or extra strong?
@brentsmith1
@brentsmith1 Год назад
Hi Stephanie, thank you for writing! This one is pretty difficult because of the weight difference. It would preferable for you to have medium, and strong for him. Strong will work for you both and I think you will be satisfied. I wish you luck and feel free to ask me anything else. Have a wonderful weekend!

At 230 lbs your husband would want to order “extra strong” bungees for most optimal at that weight.

Leaps and Rebounds does not have adjustable tension bungees like the JumpSport does.

Good morning Cheryl☺️ No need to buy any subscription. You will get a free trial for Bellicon Home, which has workout videos. I would recommend using the free trial to learn proper posture and techniques. Then find someone you like on RU-vid with free lessons. I wish you luck, fun, and health!

Why don’t you tell us what you weigh, then jump on the rebounders so we can see how deep you go down on the different strength strings. Duhhhh.

Great review! Thx! I’m sold. Although I’m now torn on whether to get the bungees for my weight or a size heavier, as suggested in another review, to make it tighter. But I also hear that the tighter it is the less it bounces and you don’t want that in order to get the best workout. In other words, the tighter it is the less your body is working and getting the benefits of the exercise itself. I also heard that the bungees don’t wear down or loosen for years. I fluctuate between 170 & 180 it’s suggested i get strong at that weight. I’m nervous extra strong would be too tight and non-effective. What are your thoughts?
