OMG this lady is so nice! She went out of her way to show us how each unit performed and how to compensate for the shortcoming of the cheaper unit (excellent tip for home users on a budget) as opposed to 💩 on the cheaper units. 🤗😗

thank you very much for your feedback! I know that the video is long but I tried to show all aspects that were important for me before buying / changing the blender. Also I was making this video for my students (I teach how to make and sell healthy cakes). So, not everyone can afford $450 for vitamix but everyone can start with Ninja :)))

Is this the most honest comparison for someone who cannot afford Vitamix? Yes. Yes it is. After searching over half the internet, this is it. She even wants the cheapest one to work so that all her viewers can make her recipes. My heart just melted lol

I was able to pick up the Oster Versa for 79.99$ CAD at Costco. I'm in awe at how good it works. At this price it's just ridiculous!

I have owned a Vitamix for approximately 10 yrs. Don't use often, however, it is a very powerful blender. After spending the money I spent on it, it will be in my kitchen until it dies. I wish I could afford its smaller 32 oz container--alone cost $143.95.

Just want to comment about the Oster lid, I have the Oster Pro 1200 with same lid design. While holding handle simply use your thumb on the same hand to push up corner of lid and it comes right off. :-)

Thank you so much for your comment. Yes, I think it's not a big problem with a lid. Main thing that it can blend nut butter into amazingly creamy consistency! It impressed me very much. Now I recommend it to all my students.

Thank you Olga for a very well done and honest review. I was going to get a Ninja because it does smoothies so well, but I wondered about nut butter and silky bean pastes. I think I'm getting the Versa instead because it can also handle hot soups and sauces, the Ninja cannot

Thanks for this comparison. You were smart to choose major brands with real warranties. I bought a no name (Vanaheim) blender that only lasted ~100 cycles before the blade-bearing wore out. Oster has a Pro 1200, priced about the same as the Ninja, sounds like it might be better choice than Ninja, if you ever get a chance to test it. 🥥🥮🧁

19:04 Honestly, you have to use the same trick I use on my blendtec with wildside + Jar. Which is - Blend tough ingredients like peanuts, cashews, almonds etc at a slow speed first. Wait for it to be broken down finely and release its natural oils. Then, ramp it up to medium speed, then high. And you will have the perfect butter and creams. Remember - Blendtec's don't come with any tamper sticks?

I am happy to see an honest review. Most comparison reviews want the same results for cheap to expensive blenders. When the reviews should be will you get results that are satisfactory to the budget consumer. Thanks for the review.

Dear Olga, I love your video! I have 1800W blender and mostly its perfect but I did your mint cake and for chocolate layer after quite long blending I still had cashew pieces.. how you think, could the wrong sequence of putting ingredients to the blender impact not smooth consistency? Thank you so much for your pasion🤗

Thank you very much for your love!!! The answer is Yes, it could, and I explained it in the video why the order of the ingredients is important. Also, I gave a tip what to do if your blender can't blend the batter anyway. Everything is in the video. Your blender has a great powder, it should make a good cream at the end.

I used regular jar for wet ingredients. I don't have any for dry ingredients and never tried it.

Hi Olga, unfortunately the price of the Oster Versa has gone really up. Do you have other alternatives to recommend? I live in Europe (so maybe that changes the availability). I found the Bosch Vitaboost, do you have any reference of this one? The Ninja NJ600 is not produced anymore. Could you please give us an update on machines today? Many thanks!

Thank you for the video, however I have a question. It's 2021 and there is a new model of the Ninja. Ninja Mega (BL770). What do you think of it? Do you still prefer the Oster against the Ninja? Hope you can answer.

I am sorry, I haven't tried new models. And I don't say that that Ninja is bad. It just requires a longer time to blend to reach the same consistency as Oster.
