as tough as that was way better than a midwest vehicle, my FC-150 needed oxyacetylene with small tip on all bolts, cherry red, then came out with large screwdriver turning with channel-locks
uhg. That's no fun! This is/was a coastal NY vehicle that appears to have been setup as a beach-runner (based on the high flotation Baja tires). So, I was totally expecting your experience and I was pleasantly surprised I did not have to resort to your methods!
