I would watch them all only ESPN has something about that. I am not buying on a streaming service $100 for ESPN, when I have ESPN+ on Hulu that could be playing her games giving ESPN higher viewership. This rookie class causing more channels to watch WNBA is the only reason I am again getting to watch games. I just happen have all the other streaming ways to watch games just not ESPN , 2 and 3 but have plus.
I try to catch every Fever game. I'm a new WNBA fan due to Caitlyn Clark's accomplishments. I never heard of Diana Taurasi until I started watching the WNBA. I did hear of Brittney Griner because of her captivity for having pot in Russia. She was not too bright on her part, but she's home and safe, so that's a good thing. Griner is a good player! The exciting thing about the WNBA is that it is close, whereby on any given day, the winners might change. The Fever won this round and it will be very exciting to watch the next game between these two teams!
She is the reason ANYONE watches the WNBA and these haters cannot get their heads around that. A rising tide lifts all boats. Because of her people are seeing very good players who no one had any interest in! They need to wake up! Props to Taurasi I must say.
Sadly she's gonna take them all with her...whether or not they are WITH her or AGAINST her...she's handling it with class though. Boring ass league finally got a star and all the wannabes are hating on her. The whole situation is so backwards its sad.
We love you Ms Clark all the way from Busan S Korea 🇰🇷 ❤️ 🇺🇸. You are a generation talent that is changing the landscape of the WNBA, not only with your amazing game ,it's your humility that is so deep. Ms Clark we thank you for the opportunity. Lets go IOWA # 22
She woulda had it if a weak whistle hadn't taken away her 10th board in the 4th quarter. The call was garbage, and it kept all of us that were in attedance from witnessing history.
. Caitlin Clark is a crowd drawer . CC is the best thing that ever happened to WNBA . Referees should take care of her . Everywhere she goes the arena is sold out .
Every once in a while, rookie athletes enter the professional arena and, with them, bring an entirely new and inspiring fan base. It's great for the WNBA!
She didn't do anything, that other players haven't done.,she is.what we call "Your Great White Hope"😢stop the.mess that's what you want not what she is...Time will tell..At least you got that.right.. "😢ONE OF THE GREATEST" ..
Caitlin just beat 3 olympians as a rookie. but for some reason she's not qualified for the usa team. CC is a TRUE TEAM LEADER " Love ALL those Assist "............
It wasn’t that long ago that all olympians were amateurs. Allowing pros into the Olympics was a kick in the gut for all the amateurs that weren’t interested in professional sports but just wanted to be an Olympian.
She has done something that no other athlete has ever done . She sells out the arena at home and away. She has drawn and played in front of the largest crowd in WNBA history. They aren't even playing 500 ball. Her attendance records make her the all-time MVP of the WNBA. It's all about the Benjamin's.
She's young, and it's not like she will never make the US Olympic team. Other rookies in other pro sports have experienced the same thing. I'm not defending it either way. Pro sports are pro sports, and most athletes understand what they are signing up for!
@@GoodLifeBreeze and right there is what CC is doing for WNBA... There was literally no reason to watch until 2 months ago... It was just a bunch of whiney self entitled women thinking they were "owed" something...
No she is not like Larry Bird!! Her being a white player does not default into Larry Bird!! We’re talking about a legend who in one game dropped 38pts in a game exclusively shooting with his left hand. Larry Bird is a right handed shooter!! Don’t ever disrespect Larry Legend like that. Caitlin is great, but she is nowhere near that kind of beast.
Never followed Women basketball before but this young rising star has certainly got my attention and I would love to see a possible legend in the making play.
@@auto-systematic Nope, that is not true; I have watched from start to finish. I'm seeing, perhaps what's been for many years, that women's basketball is a great game to watch. It's been brought to my attention by the accomplishments of a young lady called Caitlyn Clark. I'm also seeing how outstanding other players are in the WNBA! The point that has been driven home here is that the WNBA has been largely on an upward trajectory because of Caitlyn Clark. From watching the games, I see other great players adding to this upward swing in popularity. Call me late to the party, but I am becoming a fan of the WNBA, and I'm not the only person who has caught on!
Great video, agree with every word. I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. I have followed CC from the very beginning. My younger sister attended Dowling High School with CC's mother! Beyond her BB knowledge and abilities, she truly represents "Iowa Nice". So proud of her, she is a pure joy to watch. Will never get tired of watching the highlight reels! ❤
Re: DT; she more or less acknowledged it with gritted teeth. She was utterly grudging, picking out her words. She had no warmth or generosity, and definitely no sincerity about saying anything civil regarding Caitlyn. DT is Not at all an admirable person. The overall quality of the WNBA will increase once that viciously jealous person is out of the picture.
Let's not tarnish the conversation, please. Sexual preferences shouldn't be a factor. Love who you want to love! There's enough hate and division in the world. Let's enjoy the true poetry of professional women's basketball!
griner taurasi and clark showed real leadership and class in pregame...was great to see and great for the wnba to see 2 leaders of the wnba greet clark b4 game and share a moment.good job girls
Yes, I think so, too. Taurasi and Griner are true pros and are terrific for the league. These two can show the new WNBA players how to conduct themselves as professionals! It's very exciting times for the WNBA!
@@Mac11Mike Gee, I don't think anyone is required to kiss anyone's rear end! I'm not sure I understand the comment? The WNBA is on an upward trajectory, which is good. There is Caitlyn Clark, who, by all rights, is a phenom and has helped propel the league to new rights! Other WNBA greats still in the game are also doing their part to increase the game's notoriety! I don't think it has anything to do with bum-smooching! Hey, to each their own right!
@@Mac11Mike NO one says they have to kiss her backside. It's called mutual respect. Every post you reply to shows your inability to comprehend what people are saying. Your all about hating on CC, what, did she send you to bed early one night while babysitting, or wouldn't let you play with your easybake oven? That's the impression I get from your negative posts, some 9yo with issues. Go back to playing dress up an leave the conversation to the adults in the room. 😮
@thatswhoibe1364 Yep, they both share Italian heritage! Probably some jealousy and fatigue from overexposure in the media. And some of the fans are annoying...not me, but many of us are loud on social media. Taurasi was singing CC's praises last year, I found out over the weekend. So I think it was less about Caitlin and more about the hype
All the women in the WNBA even Angel Reese will have no choice to respect CC one day. Because all the hate she still smile and show them kindness love and respect. And it's killing all of her haters
No need for triple double. Cc doesn't care about personal accolades. She wants to win. Simple! She doesn't miss layups so she can rebound her miss to pad her rebounding stats. She wins!
Coach took out CC because she is terrible on defense. As delightful as she is to watch, if you watch full games of the Fever, you would notice that the ball ia not in CC hands during the minutes because she turns the ball over frequently. Casual
YES YES before Clark I never watch WNBA, because of Clark I watch every game she plays in. Diana Taurasi is a CLASS act, very professional and great personality and motivator. For Diana to say what she said about Clark is so classy coming from such a superb player!!!!!! Great job Taurasi
Diana Taurasi showed tremendous class and respect. Which is why she is such a great representative of the WNBA. She set the footing for all of the new players today and this league would not even be in existence if it wasn't for players like Taurasi. Hats off to both Taurasi and Clark for showing mutual respect for each other during a sold out arena and nationally televised game. It was amazing to watch and so fun. The way competitive sports should be. One of the best games I ever watched. They played like it was a game 7 finals game. ;-)
Second time her coach has blocked her. The first time is when she was going to set the Assist record, they sat her for most of the 3rd. Here she is clearly going to get an Triple dub and coach sits her again.
The Rookie did it, not just against DT but there were 3 CURRENT MEMBERS of the 12 US Women's Basketball Team! How is she not going to Paris? She absolutely BELONGS on the US Women's Basketball Team! Go CC.
Ms. Clark is so much more than an extremely talented player. She is a young woman with maturity, passion kindness and dignity. She raises us all who follow her to a higher level.
Sorry that Caitlin had a migraine and I think it was a good thing she opted out of the post-game press conference as it seems she wants her teammates to have their time to speak. I love Caitlin and think credit needs to go to all Fever players. Without Mitchell, Boston, etc crucial passes and shots wouldn't have been made. Awesome job, Fever players!🎉
Clark is very impressive considering she had about a week to rest between the NCAA and WNBA What I really like is how she makes everyone around her better. Once her teammates can catch her passes her assists will skyrocket .
You are nothing but a troller. Theres something wrong with you, get professional help, seriously. So much hate for 1 young lady whos actually inspiring girls an bringing families to games not to mention 1000s of other fans selljng out arenas. UNLESS, your a player trolling under a false name. HMMM
I’ve been following Caitlin since I first saw one of her sophomore year videos. I was totally blown away how accurate she is and how she distributes the ball when her shots aren’t falling.
Clark is bringing the WNBA to the next level we the people. She's bringing her Team along with her. BLESSINGS 🙏 to Her. She will get that triple/double.
Isnt it weird how the biggest star ever, in their history ISN'T a constantly whining, entitled, rude and angry lesbian? Its instead a humble, polite, talented girl who doesn't whine even when she's practically assaulted on the court. HOW ODD. Almost like that's what appeals to normal humans.
Clark is a breath of fresh air destined to upgrade and take womens basketball at all levels to a new proficiency, professionalism and fun. She continues to show how women can participate in sports and be great!she has become the spokesperson for women to dream big, work hard and have confidence to achieve whatever they want to do. Her enthusiasm is affecting everyone even beyond our borders in the US. She brings it with class, humility and confidence! And a commitment that is unprecedented! And she’s only just getting started!
As I’m not a USA citizen, why isn’t she on the USA team,….politics?….not enough experience?……been sort of following this…personally I find Reese’s? Interactions with her or on her obnoxious,childish…..jealousy?
Did it with a migraine which she’s had to deal with even in college. Had a ruptured ear drum for a couple weeks. All while not complaining or making excuses once. She’s just a true competitor and someone girls and boys can look up to. So many athletes play victim and are full of excuses anymore and it’s a joke. I can’t wait to see her on fresh legs and healthy next season.
Reviewing the Fever schedule before the game: The youngest, least experienced team's first five games were against the two top teams - twice each - and the third best team once. No realistic expectation to win those. Disregard those (unofficially, of course) and the Fever would be 7 --7. The next stretch getting through that ridiculous early schedule, they faced those three teams five more times; call it 7- 2. Great win against a mid-level team. Now to win against those top three teams, as well.
Yeah, all of her delusional fans who didn't know what basketball was a year ago. Honestly her fans are what make most dislike her. Always blaming her failures on others, claiming some racist plot, using sexual preferences as an argument, no awareness of the competitive nature of sports, all this victimhood when at the end it's just basketball
Love the love 🎉 the Rook and the Goat! I would have loved to be able to witness more thrilling matchup with them for 5-10 yrs more but DT, for sure, will feel good that W is in good hands now
While I can see some truth in your comment, I believe that Ms. Taurasi still has a lot in the tank to offer the WNBA. I'm not that quick to think that's it for her. Taurasi and athletes like her have paved the very long and hard road to notoriety in the WNBA. Diana Taurasi is a tremendous athlete!
@clarencelee8852 No. All she does is talk shit and said Clark isn't great because she didn't win championships, while Taurasi only did on overly stacked teams, then she got smooshed by the same rookie she talked down to. She can go, now.
@@spectreshot8536 Okay, I get it. If you don't like Taurasi, that's fine. That's your right as a fan to give your opinion. This is precisely what I'm talking about! Controversy, rivalries, white hat vs. black hat. It's good for the WNBA. BTW, Taurasi is a terrific athlete whether you like her or not!
@@anthonyhutton9174 You are so right in theory, however that is why Taurasi won't give her spot up because she has ZERO class, due to her previous delusional comments and jealously of CC.
@@anthonyhutton9174 give it to Caitlin? So no one else is deserving? And that's not how that works. You do know she made the Olympic team 5x because she's one of the greatest to ever play right
ALL of you proved you know nothing about the sport. Diana Taurasi has a national championship something caty couldn't accomplish on top of wnba titles. Taurasi is arguably top 3 to ever play in the wnba. A 22 yr old Taurasi would wash this habitual loser, Taurasi never led NO league in turnovers. Cc stans are not only delusional but are basketball dummies, ptovwn with Thoreau's comments
How is this even fair? Dinosaur is 42 years old and CC is 22 and is better than dinosaur was as a rookie ! Dinosaur had to sit down early and Clark had a ton of energy!!! Wasn't even close !
That’s very troubling that no WNBA rookies I’ve never had a trooper double trying to say no girls never came in the league. That’s good enough to even have one triple double even in one game.
Rookies don’t always get the same playing time as they are gradually integrated into the team’s system. Anyway, your typing/spelling is troubling, too.
The assists stat is the difficult one. Double doubles with scoring and rebounds happen almost every game with post players, but you seldom see a double digit assist game.
I never watched the WNBA game before this year…I have the Fever’s game on automatic record and will watch them ! That is the change she has made! It is real!!
