$10 isn't actually a lot of money in India. At the current rate, it's about Rs. 800. That's like a KFC bucket and Pepsi. If you're having Starbucks, that's about a Venti and a Cheesecake probably. But if you're talking streetfood, $10 can be a lot of money almost anywhere 😂

Madurai is a food Haven in South India! Next time if you come to visit India and happen to visit south of India, come to Madurai for food! The Thoonga-Nagaram or the night hotel places . . Get blown away by south and north Indian food fusion too. .
