I like how all the weapons in gta 4 feel powerful and have more realistic models as opposed to gta 5s mostly fictional guns. And how the DLCs had really unique weapons. Like the full auto AA12 shotgun or p90. I’m hoping for gta 6 we get more unique stuff like a burst rifle

GTA 4 has such a unique visual theme with its grungy grounded atmosphere regarding its urban environment, so I hope the maimi nightlife has that same visual fair. I really hope the urban alleys and nightlife streets are just as gritty

One of my favorite details of GTA IV was that if you exited a vehicle by quickly tapping the exit button Niko would leave the engine running, but if you held the exit button slightly longer he would engage the handbrake and shut the engine off. I was very disappointed when I found out that this didn't exist in GTA V, along with many other minute details, and it was that level of attention to detail in GTA IV which made it feel so life like and real.

Long and serious story is what i want. The story in GTA 5 was short and pretty light hearted. Hell the story of 5 to me was more like a parody of all the big budget blockbuster movies that were coming out at the time. With GTA 6 i really hope it will be serious once again. A story about a modern day Bonnie and Clyde sounds so interesting.

Although people are still comparing GTA IV to GTA V, I do appreciate that the community appreciates and acknowledges more and more what GTA V has done good and treating it with respect just as much as GTA IV. I was just so worried more people would hate GTA IV even more because of the amount of people with the same mindset of *GTA V bad, GTA IV good.* GTA V is still great and more popular, GTA IV is also just as great, if not, even more but not as popular.

I've been saying that for a long time VI is going to be like how San Andreas was for the SD Universe.

GTA IV was so awesome when it got released. I went to the midnight release at my local GameStop when it was released I played the shit out of this game. I loved every minute of it. Yes there were things that could have been better and changed, before the time it was pretty damn amazing after San Andreas. The DLC was also pretty awesome. This game was so fun to play I actually picked up a used PS3 off marketplace just to play this game again. I still have all my OG PS3 games and hoping to get a PS5 so I can play everything on one console. Thanks for the video, subscribed

It’s kinda disappointing because when GTA San Andreas came out I was impressed and figured that by now we would be able to enter almost any building and do almost anything in a GTA game. But there are things in San Andreas that you can’t do in GTA 5. I figure it’s because of the focus on graphics. I think they should make a 2nd line of GTA where you can do about anything only with lesser graphics. A focus on features instead.

Bigger map in GTA 6, so they should learn from GTA San Andreas. The map wasn't that big in reality, but there things they did that made it feel massive. Plenty of side things to do besides the main mission in each area and the missions in different areas were long enough to give the places meaning to you. Also, you want make each place worth revisiting like in San Andreas or GTA IV's trilogy as opposed to it being useless once the missions are done. Bring back vigilante too, because that was too fun and a good excuse to move around the map.

The reason why GTA5 didn't use euphoria was because a different company bought them and so for GTA 5 they couldn't use it but I believe take two bought that company the bought the company that had euphoria and so that's why rdr2 had the upgraded euphoria physics.

In short gta 6 will need good shooting mechanics, a preferably dark story similar to IV and a fun open world. If I can ride around the city and have fun just listening to the radio you’ve done a good job!

Would like if there computers locations instead of using phones to go on the Criminal websites. Because cops cloud track you when using new smartphone, and Internet cafes from Gta 4

A fun world with activity, I liked gta 4 because if I got bored of doing missions I could catch a subway, go on the internet in cafes then rob them after, go play darts, bowling, air hockey pool or even find a QUB3D arcade and play it for ages. GTA 5 kinda lacked that, I mean sure online had it alittle bit better with casino, taxi mission, arcade machines, and darts, but single player kinda got left behind and with those that where added…it wasn’t all that fun like rollercoaster is just feels like it was just a reason for Rockstar to add a dick

MAKE GTA 6 SLOW PACED LIKE GTA 4 I lovveeeeddd the gunfights an action in gta 4 the gunplay was perfect with how slow an steady you could be an how the enemies were actually slow an smart an didn’t just rush in your face much like gta 5 even in rdr2 the npcs were somewhat aggressive, gta 4 nailed it I liked the slow gameplay when it needed to be slow an fast when it called for it. Gta 5 was just a whole fast paced action movie which I do love but I want a good grounded mix of action movie/reality. If that makes sense?

I dont understand how you could say micheal trevor and franklin arent cool characters. They all have their own unique backgrounds and character traits just like Niko lol. IMO they are some of the best GTA protaginasts in the whole series. Except franklin I think he is the only one that's just likeable and not really a cool character. And if you say theres no real backstory for the 3 then you have to realize that in the story it doesnt just give you a direct background for the 3 (besides the prolouge), it gives you little bits of information about their background in certain missions or hangouts. In GTA 4 though its way more direct and upfront on Nikos background and why he is doing what hes doing, but overall Nikos character and background is still way cooler lol.

I love the hangouts in gta iv but keeping a good relationship with friends stressed me out so much and actually made me want to quit playing the first time. Like sometimes I wanted to just mess around in the city for a couple hours but then one of the friends text me why haven’t we hung out in a while and then their likeness goes down a bunch. it kinda ruined the game for me.

Great video, and I agree with a lot of this, but I genuinely do feel the writing in GTA V is better and more interesting than IV's. Something great about V's protagonists not being "cool" is that they're more defined caricatures of modern criminals than Niko, who is mostly a passive figure in the bulk of the story (which is more a series of unrelated missions than V's interweaving narrative), and that includes the things that make them pathetic. It reinforces a strong set of themes and makes their interactions together more dynamic. I'm sure Lucia and Jason (Lucia especially looks badass) will be more "cool" than F/M/T, but I hope they're nuanced enough to be vulnerable to a critical eye.

Say whatever you want about the driving physics in GTA IV. It's simply very fun to drive in Liberty City and really puts your skills to the test your when it comes to driving, braking, weight shifting in corners, pull off sick tricks and it's SO satisfying in that game. also not mentioning the incredible collisions and damage models in the vehicles where in GTA V was so vapid and every single car feels the same. (despite me loving doing races in GTA V) I hope GTA VI will at least make a very consistent driving physics and collisions thats makes much more entertaining to watch.

Nah but we can all agree that GTA 5 was held back by the console it was set to released on, and also the online. Because if the online didn't pop off, than there would of been DLC meaning they would of had time to upgrade the map more (Like more enterable buildings) when the next gen comes out. (And they would of likely released more games like red dead 2 would of been early and probably gta 6)

I honestly have bad experiences with gta 4, it is a great game, but the first time I actually got far into the game my account had something go wrong and I lost all my progress, and my OG 360 is age restricted and I have no idea what the code is so I can’t play :( at least without the ability to save.

I really, really hope the scale of the story is much more like IV. V was way too big, and having 3 completely different protagonists who have completely different storylines that eventually converge makes it much harder to keep track of everything and connect with the protagonists as you're constantly being switched around. EFLC worked perfectly because not only were the stories intertwined with the base game from the beginning but you only play as each episodes respective protagonist for that episode. Even though the episodes are much more restrictive in terms of what you can do with the protagonists (for example, you cant change clothes as johnny) and the episodes are only roughly six hours long each, the stories are not only impactful but make you rethink the context and events of the base game, complementing everything perfectly.

Honestly, GTA VI should release ONLY on next generation consoles, even if these aren’t even announced/released yet. I know I would buy the next generation of console just for GTA VI and millions like me would. It would greatly boost the sales of a new generation consoles and vastly improve GTA VI’s undoubtedly long life ahead.

It could learn balance. GTA 4 always felt evened out and fair where as GTA 5 just feels like it's trying to screw you over at all times. GTA 5 is always working against you and trying to hold you back with its ridiculous enemies being bullet sponges one minute and actual human beings that get hurt by being shot the next. Granted this is mostly a problem in online but I feel like it still applies since online was arguably the bigger half of the experience. Also they need to not destroy every scene by over reliance on comedy. I wish Michael's family was actually likeable and made you care about them. I wanted to actually feel sad when they left him and wanted to be invested when they got back together but the game turns all of these heart felt moments into sitcoms. There might as well be a laugh track during GTA 5s cutscenes with how little they take themselves seriously. GTA 4 had comedy but it was balanced out with a story that made you care at the same time.

I prefer gta 4 over 5 because of story, physics, and atmostphere. For gta 6 i would like to see a balancing act in the storytelling in terms of tone because while 4 has a dark atmostphere and a gritty enviroment, 5 has a funnier story with memorable over the top action set pieces so if they could pull a saints row 2 in terms of story and combine the best elements from both titles this will be the greatest gta and would fit the Miami vibe well.

I think GTA 6's physics should be a mixture of V and IV. IV's physics, while they add to the immersion, they feel wonky af. The suspension travel is way too much on some cars, mainly sports cars, and the overally shoothing mechanics are insanely outdated. I prefer V's physics, in fact I think its a lot better, but i can see the charm of IV's. The biggest issue i feel when playing IV is that you cant really BE the main character, You cant relate to him as much, neither can you feel his pain, well that is if you've never fought in a war, or if you aren't a complete maniac.
